As a starter his SSS GO/AO rate isn't impressive (.97), although they don't seem to be squaring up his pitches that often. I could see him having his fair share of long ball issue's all season, especially at the rogers centre. -

Honestly, I think Drabek is done as a starter, maybe he can throw out of the bullpen with some success, but I don't think he will ever be a successful starter. I love how the Braves handle their young pitchers, using the kids as spot starters and relievers instead of AAA filler. I remember when Redmond was with the Braves minor league system, yet kids like Tehran, Delgado got the call ahead of him, and rightfully so, even though Redmond was putting up good numbers.

The reason you see Jays fans at nearly every stadium is because any Canadian that lives in those cities will buy a ticket. Jays are Canada's team, especially since the Expos moved. As to you last question, baseball isn't nearly as fan crazy soccer hooligans like in england where you can get stabbed for rooting for Everton at a Man U game The odd drunk might give you a hard time, but for the most part "trouble" doesn't show up at baseball games

This is probably my biggest complaint with AA, using org filler like hendricks, when you have good young talent knocking on the door to the show. I would much rather see kids like Nolin/Sanchez thrown into the fire, and even struggle a bit, than watch washed up AAA players earn a paycheck for a week. The argument for service clock always comes up with GM's like alex, which is one of his flaws in my opinion, but Liam had his shot, clearly his stuff doesn't cut it as he's been crushed in 3 starts (2 was enough). Why not give a guy like Nolin a longer look, see what you might potentially have for the future?

That really sucks for Gavin if he needs TJ surgery again, he's such a good guy and a pretty decent pitcher when healthy. Braves just can't catch any luck, I think they already have 3 pitchers out with TJ surgery. Looks like Alex Wood will be back up, I really like this kid and his herky jerky delivery.

Bans for being a douche full-time should still apply, my point is, pretty much every thread is hi-jacked with accusations (unfounded or not) and this seems to be what is causing all the calamity. I really enjoy reading people's thoughts on the jays, good or bad, not peoples thoughts on who is who, or who they were. As soon as it pops up in a thread i usually stop reading it now, as I know the jays will no longer be discussed.

I was kind of pissed everyone was calling me Dogg when i first started posting here, although at the time i just thought the board was filled with wannabe gangsters using 90's slang. After seeing constant barrages at new people accusing them of being someone they are not, and this whole "sherlock holmes research your past sentence nuances crap" filling threads, i can see why people would shy away from actively contributing to this board. I for one, would like to see bans for people who are endlessly filling threads with accusations stated above, as they seem to be the catalyst to all this ******** fighting.
