    Coke should not be pitching beyond Davis and Snider (the next two batters). Well, in a perfect world, he wouldn't be pitching for the Jays at all, but here we are.

    Instead of trading for Cueto tonight, how about just using one of the better options in AAA for a month instead of Copeland before making a deal in July? s***, Boyd couldn't possibly be worse than Crapland.

    Should have tied it at least, but 7-6 is not bad. Now the hard part. The Jays pen holding them at 0's for another 7 innings. Put on your seat belts.

    Cash is the best manager in this division. He worked for the Jays until the end of 2011. Everyone in the Jays org thought Gomes wasn't a catcher, while Cash knew he would be a good one. The Rays are in good hands.

    I hope they pitch Copeland on 2 days rest against the Rays. We need him for that series as well.

    This is on AA. Copeland is not a MLB pitcher and will never reach the Majors again on any other team. Using him when Norris, Doubront, and Boyd are killing it in the minors is a joke. The Jays have no problem giving games away for some reason.

    Get a starter and move Sanchize to the bullpen. Fixes two weak spots in one transaction (assuming Sanchez is a good reliever).

    Gibbons is just as scared of Copeland as fans are. He put his best defenders out there for once.

    I'm a Rays believer. I hate them, but they can't be stopped.

    If they don't suffer any further injuries, they will be. Pitching, bullpen, and great front office, and I say that as a Tampa hater.

    Yankees/Jays in the Bronx for the Wild Card game. That's our only chance unless Alex pulls off a huge deal.

    I wish Kevin Cash was our manager. Can't believe he was in the Jays org and they let him go.

    Did he really? It sounds like something Gibbons would say as his media sessions are usually filled with quotes like that (sarcastic or otherwise).

    With Copeland going tomorrow, we will need a lot of help today and tomorrow.

    You can make the right moves and still lose. Gibbons doesn't do that very often. Monday's loss against the Mets is an exception.

    The Jays will bring it to one run and lose, and then everyone will say how unlucky we are in one run games. Same old s***.
