Just the last 2 innings?
When the Jays aren't blowing teams out, they are inventing creative ways to lose. We just have to hope they can survive in games like today.
You just said that Goins not bunting in that situation was the right call.
My case for inclusion in the gene pool (nice one) is still far ahead of yours.
OK, so...
Blunder 1: Leaving Copeland in too long when everyone in the world knew he was s***.
Blunder 2: Ryan Goins not bunting.
Blunder 3: Wasting a challenge on an obvious play.
With Ryan Goins batting? What were you expecting other than an out? At least a bunt would have moved the runners up.
It's not like it would have been a good hitter bunting. It would be an inferior Johnny Mac bunting. There's a big difference there.
Gibbons managing a close game. Let's count the blunders and pray for a victory anyway.
Blunder #1: Ryan Goins hits rather than bunts with 1st/2nd, 0 out in the bottom of the 5th.
Osuna is probably not available for this one having pitched the last two games. I think it's pretty much down to Hendriks, Delabar, Loup, and Cecil at this point.
This game is far, far from over.
Can't blame Gibby too much there. Coke against a LH was a good match-up. Unfortunately, Coke's suckage in general messed with his ability to get out a lefty and it hurt him with Davis.
Seriously, if by some miracle Coke gets out of this without any further damage, then let Hendriks and Delabar pitch the next 3 innings. f*** it. No more messing around.
Coke should not be pitching beyond Davis and Snider (the next two batters).
Well, in a perfect world, he wouldn't be pitching for the Jays at all, but here we are.
