    The Jays enter today at 63-48. We should all be happier and less agrumentative. You all need to learn to love each other.

    Agreed especially with your last point. Once Pillar becomes a free agent in 2021, he'll be 32 years old. Probably around the same time his strengths (speed, defence) decline if they haven't started to already. That's when you let him go. Also, no reason for the Jays to look at an extension for this type of player before free agency.

    This is what I was thinking but I am not smart enough to know if that's the reason or if there is any support to the theory of putting weaker hitters at 7 and 8 compared to 9.

    So criminal charges for Chapman & Reyes were dropped yet the MLB suspends both for roughly 30 & 60 games, respectively. Odor throws a haymaker at work to someone's jaw and gets 8 games. Colour me confused.
