  1. Duffey is lucky to get out of that inning.. he doesn't look close to MLB ready.
  2. Holy does Arnold Leon suck..
  3. I hate thrill rides, basically. I don't like being upside down.
  4. Seriously, f the Yankees. 9 run 7th because Breslow is garbage, as is Machi.
  5. Sox starting to get to Tanaka. Swihart just tied the game.
  6. I've also been to the aquarium. And yes, it's worth it. As for Wonderland, after some bad experiences in the past, I'm not going near there. If I wanted to go to a water park (which Wonderland has), I'd rather be at Fallsview or Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls. BTW, I'll be at the Saturday and Sunday games myself.
  7. Sox bullpen is going to have a lot of work tonight.. 51 pitches for Owens already.
  8. Tulo for the 200s! Big blast there. And it's 2-0!
  9. Another overhyped Sox pitching prospect..
  10. F'n Yanks.. Owens looks overmatched vs. MLB hitters so far.
  11. Goodbye! 200 level shot for the #BringerOfRain! (FYI, it is actually raining here right now.
  12. DeMarlo Hale is managing tonight as Gibbons is suspended 1 game and can't appeal, unlike Sanchez. And what's your bet Sanchez's suspension gets reduced?
  13. Bombs away.. Royals are going to pound him.
  14. And yet Volquez gets off scot-free. Hope Sanchez appeals.. he should never have gotten that suspension. The Gibbons one is justified.. can't go back out on the field after being ejected (see Bobby Valentine).
  15. MLB sked strength for the remainder of the season--O's and Twins most difficult, Tigers near impossible, Jays and Yanks less so. Too bad we're not the Mets.. they have a cakewalk of a sked remaining: http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-baseball/25259249/first-place-mets-have-weakest-schedule-remaining-in-mlb
  16. Considering the Twins melting down in the last month or so, Yanks may get in anyway, even with a wild card. Of course, there's still the O's and Rays to worry about too.
  17. Should also be noted the Jays and Yanks have weak skeds down the stretch (.499 opp win% for the Jays, .490 for the Yanks). Of course, the Yanks will depend on A-Rod, Tex, Gardner or Ellsbury staying healthy. Their pitching staff has a huge hole right now with Pineda's injury.
  18. Ackley to DL (lumbar strain.) And why did the Yanks acquire him?
  19. Matt Williams definitely gets canned if they miss the playoffs, and Mike Rizzo may also end up fired, along with coaches Rick Schu (hitting) and Steve McCatty (pitching). They've built teams to go deep into the playoffs.. yet they either get bounced in the NLDS or miss the playoffs altogether. If they lose the division to the Mets, there will be a bloody mess there, as like the O's, the Nats have a lot of big name free agents (Zimmermann, Span, Desmond, Fister), none of whom are expected to return, as the Nats are already up against payroll parameters. 2017 will be especially ugly, with Harper expected to see a huge raise, and Strasburg, Ramos, Storen, Janssen and Papelbon hitting free agency. It's win now or face a major rebuild after this season for the Nats. Oh, and those Werth and Zimmerman deals are huge albatrosses..
  20. It's to conserve his innings. He's already thrown 105.2 IP, and has never throw more than 104.2 IP in a year so far. At his young age, the Astros don't want to risk injury. It's part of the reason they brought in Kazmir and Fiers in the first place, because he and Velasquez have innings caps.
  21. Then we'd better beat them next weekend by taking 2/3 or sweeping.
  22. Luckily, I won't be near there.. I'm going to Niagara Falls.
