    And yet because the Dodgers can't seem to have consistency outside of Kershaw and Grienke, the Giants are still only 3 out.

    Buxton to AAA instead of the big league club. WTF are the Twins doing?? They need a spark.. sending Byron to AAA will not help. And you wonder why they've sunk back to the AL Central basement where they belong..

    Well, the Dodgers pen just blew the lead.. $270M+ and they can't build a decent pen.

    Well deserved. And they're saying we might win the East. Didn't say anything negative either.. and they weren't exactly cheering for the Yanks. The Yanks offense has really cratered this month (.221/.300/.368) as of yesterday, likely to drop further after today's performance. Yanks aren't getting any help from Ellsbury (who isn't hitting since he returned from the DL), Tex has struggled, A-Rod has struggled.. as a result, their scoring had disappeared. Not even their pitching can save them.. and considering the Indians just laid a shellacking of the Twins, the Yanks could be in for some trouble this week, as they head to Cleveland. And of course, they have us next weekend.

    Zero chance of that happening. Cards, Dodgers. Pirates or Cubs will crush the Mets in the playoffs. After all, the Mets are currently the worst of the division leaders right now. Pirates and Cubs, the wild card teams, have better records than the Mets. And the Nats are in the same boat..

    Finally watched the D-Backs/Reds walkoff.. Bryan Price is an idiot. He'll be fired by season's end anyway. Winning run would've scored anyway no matter what, as no one was even close to catching that ball.

    Who cares? Both the D-Backs and Reds are out of contention. This won't make any difference in the standings. And I'm sure MLB will be looking at this, though..

    Valencia with a walk-off! And the Astros continue to piss away their playoff hopes just like the Twins. 3 straight losses, now only 0.5 game up on the Angels.

    Angels win! O's now 3 games back of the Angels, 3.5 back of the Jays.

    And it wasn't much of a trade either.. Kratz and Hendriks went to KC, neither of whom are still with the Royals.

    Mujica just blew the game for the A's, serving up a 3-run shot to Colby Rasmus. And as for the people bashing the Danny Valencia DFA, give it a rest already! Don't you remember how much of a butcher he was in LF? And Donaldson is blocking him at 3B as well, along with Smoak/Colabello at 1B, and EE at DH. We had no spot for him for regular playing time. What the Jays need right now is another OF, whether it be Pompey or someone outside the org.

    And some upset US national broadcasters dreading having to come to Toronto to do games, considering they've NEVER done postseason games at Rogers Centre.
