    Yet the Rangers have struggled vs. Toronto, being 2-4. And really, a lot of their success has been due to weak Seattle and Oakland teams, and dominating a Houston team, who is good, but has really struggled this month (7-14), due to bullpen struggles and fatigue with the rotation. It is still possible the Angels could sneak in as well, as LA's remaining schedule is favorable, and they've dominated the Rangers this season.

    Actually, Trayce Thompson is doing quite well, with a .314/.372/.593 line. And they haven't been horrible in the last 30, playing near .500. And with lefties going in 3 of the games, the Yanks could be in tough.. especially with no Teixiera around to balance out the heavy amount of LH in the lineup. White Sox have a decent shot to take this series.

    Rangers/Astros series is going to be huge... Hamels vs. Kazmir Holland vs. McHugh Perez vs. Keuchel Rangers sweep sends Texas to Toronto, New York (more likely Toronto), or Kansas City for the ALDS.

    That and Pennington is rumored to have the yips.. especially considering how awful he was at 2B.

    Of course it'll be all hands on deck for the Yanks bullpen.. expect Nova to be on a very short leash.

    Pennington committed some big errors recently, and may have the yips.. and outside of that game, he hasn't impressed with the bat.
