  1. Uh.. Matt Hague says hello. He's on the roster and can play 3B.
  2. Expect them to call up Burns or Diaz to fill the empty spot on the bench with Tulo's injury.
  3. Have you even seen Tulo offensively lately? He hasn't impressed much.
  4. At least we have Ryan Goins to play SS for a while with no significant loss defensively. And considering Tulo was struggling offensively, it may not be completely a bad thing. But we may need to call up another INF just in case..
  5. Lineup for Game 1 of the doubleheader-- let's hope we get the games in:
  6. Chad Jenkins recalled, Travis to 60-day DL to correspond Stroman's activation off the 60-day.
  7. Anyway, the latest forecasts show only Friday having a chance of getting any games in. This could be a tough decision for MLB..
  8. If it's all rainouts in New York this weekend, MLB will most likely move this series to Toronto or a neutral site. With no more common off days, this series HAS to get in.
  9. And he didn't get to the World Series either.. as the Phillies began their slow and painful decline by the time he got there. By the time Halladay retired, the Phils were awful.
  10. Except for 2006, Delgado never played for a winner... cheap ownership at the time and the Yanks dynasty didn't help. 1998 was the closest he got as a Blue Jay to the postseason.. ruined by the Yanks 114 win season (we'll never see anyone reach that again with increased parity in the game.)
  11. Severino also has to be kept an eye on.. as he is approaching an undetermined innings limit, and Girardi wants him for the ALDS, if they get there. Don't expect more than 5 innings out of him, as he is currently at 134.2 IP, and assuming about 150 IP as a shutdown point until the postseason, he likely has about 3 starts left, hence why they moved Warren to the rotation after Eovaldi's injury. Nova and Pineda have been mediocre to struggling. And no idea what'll we'll see from Tanaka. Last time he pitched 8-9 IP in a start, he struggled afterwards..
  12. Not likely.. and the Yanks pen depth is weak after those guys and Wilson. Heck, the non-Wilson/Betances/Miller arms have blown the last two games. Shows how little trust Girardi has..
  13. Got to agree.. but MLB will do everything to get this game in, as the Jays and Yanks have no more common off-days left. If it rains all weekend in NY, MLB may have to move this series to a neutral site or Toronto... as they cannot afford to wait, especially with the postseason in less than 4 weeks.
  14. Grichuk is hurt. He shouldn't even be playing.. but the Cards are quite banged up.
  15. O's face a very tough time recovering from this disaster of a season.. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/13610413/fade-oblivion-baltimore-orioles
  16. Maybe.. he's already cost himself a boatload of money due to injury concerns and his terrible performance in KC.
  17. What a waste of time. Still a 3B for Donaldson. Do something Bautista!
  18. Yanks lose! Jays stay in 1st place regardless of what happens here.
  19. Crush Davis with a go-ahead HR off of what Girardi considers a guy he doesn't like, Chasen Shreve. 2-1 O's.
  20. Unless the Yanks fail to score a run.. Gausman and McFarland have shut their offense down tonight.
