  1. Navarro blast! There's part of the reason Rich Hill has been in the minors for so long..
  2. Edwin! Nice parrot that fan has there..
  3. Good work by Buehrle. Now we just need some runs.. Hill spend a lot of time in the minors (and the Long Island Ducks) for a reason..
  4. This time, no overturning. Kinsler walks off on the Royals with a walk-off HR. Jays only 1 out of top seed in the AL.
  5. We'll find out as early as Tuesday or Wednesday.
  6. Can you believe the Royals/Tigers game is in the 11th now, when it should've been over 2 innings ago because of that overturned sac fly? Still 5-5.
  7. BTW, magic numbers: JAYS: 6 for a wild card, 11 for AL East ROYALS: 3 for AL Central RANGERS: (Assuming a win tonight, as they lead 10-1 on Seattle): 11 for division, 10 for wild card YANKEES: 9 for wild card ASTROS: 13 for wild card
  8. Houston wins. Jays magic number at 6 after the Twins absolutely mailed it in vs. the Angels.
  9. Dyson threw home and Kinsler was nailed at home plate.
  10. Walk off by Romine (Andrew)! Jays still only 1 game back of the Royals and 3.5 ahead of the Yankees. Magic number now down to 6 after the Twins were swept in the double-header, and Houston is headed for a win. UPDATE: **** the umpires! Romine's sac fly has been overturned. Game going to extras.
  11. Royals in danger of helping the Jays out as their bullpen tanks again.
  12. Houston is doing everything to hand the Angels a postseason berth.. Astros trailing 4-3 now. UPDATE: Now 5-3..
  13. Angels win. Now only 1.5 back of the Astros, and could be as few as 0.5 games out with a doubleheader sweep today and a Astros loss. Jays magic number down to 6.
  14. A's still have a lot of work to do. They have to fix that bullpen and settle the rotation.. but they looked poised for a rebound in 2016.
  15. Greg Holland is threatening to gas-can..
  16. Don't worry, the Yanks will just sic Tanaka on them.
  17. No Dull-ness for Oakland.. Ryan Dull just picked up his 1st MLB save and made Houston's misery worse. Twins are now only 1 back, LA 2 back, and the Indians are surprisingly only 3 down now, and are suddenly a threat to steal a wild card with that pitching, and a cakewalk of a sked.
  18. Blame the Yanks and Mets. However, we are on ESPN on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
  19. 9,617 at the O's/Rays game. Guess most Tampa fans have already moved their focus to the Bucs and Bolts. And of course, both teams are out of contention.
  20. Twins up 5-0 on the Angels. Bad news for the Astros..
  21. Collapse continues in Texas with the Houston Astros. 14-3 loss to the Texas Rangers, Astros now 1.5 back of the Rangers, and in danger of being only 0.5 game up on Minnesota, as they are currently tied 2-2 with Detroit. And let's not count out the Angels or Indians (who won tonight, and have given the Jays help, as the Royals are now only 2 games up on the Jays.)
  22. Red Sox probables: Wade Miley vs. Marcus Stroman Dickey vs. Porcello Buehrle vs. Rich Hill (no joke!) No Joe Kelly--done for the year due to arm fatigue, and no Tazawa either (innings limit).
  23. Providing dumb voters don't give them to Adam Jones and Mike Trout..
  24. Tanaka will pitch in the Jays series. Nova demoted to the bullpen: METS series: Tanaka, Pineda, Sabathia BLUE JAYS series: Warren, Severino, Tanaka
  25. Better lineup tonight, EE back in playing 1B: Revere LF Donaldson 3B Bautista RF Encarnacion 1B Martin C Goins SS Pillar CF Pennington 2B Price P
