While checking Baseball Reference, I noticed that Boston's offense is DEAD LAST in the AL. Worse than Houston, at 3.75 runs/game, 14th in batting average, 13th in Ks, 15th in SLG. I knew losing Ellsbury would hurt, but how did Boston turn into a clone of the current Chicago Cubs, with decent pitching and zero offense, even with the DH?
Last year, Boston was tops in many categories. How much longer can this go on in the Red Sox organization before some coaches get canned? Even THE Mookie Betts isn't helping so far.
