    Geez, have a game Mookie Betts! 2 hits, 4 RBIs, a HR, and the Nats look like garbage.. wasn't this picked as a World Series contender? Let's hope Zimmermann isn't hurt.. with that lousy line, I wouldn't be surprised if he's injured..

    Henderson Alvarez is being sent for an MRI, and according to Jon Morosi, the Marlins have concerns it is a shoulder issue..

    Hendo's in worse trouble than we think.. could be a shoulder issue, which is MUCH worse than an elbow injury.

    Breslow's not available tomorrow, Varvaro's pitched back-to back, Layne's going to AAA.. and Ross is not one who can go multiple innings, after that disaster in Texas last season as a SP. Innings aren't really a good measure.. it's the number of pitches used. And Wright isn't even on the team now, as he was optioned to AAA yesterday.

    Farrell's going to have a lot of explaining to do after this train wreck of a game. Better hope Porcello goes 7-8 innings tomorrow.. which won't be easy against that strong Nats pitching staff.

    Why is Farrell still burning arms? Mujica now in.. and proceeds to give up a HR to McCann. And he's got backup C Sandy Leon at 3rd...

    I wonder what Derek Jeter is thinking about with Gregorius.. at least despite the lack of range, Jeter made the plays! Gregorius has had a ton of mental errors since he became the SS for the Yankees..

    Say, what's your bet Holt is pitching the 8th? If he's not, Farrell doesn't have a clue that he can't afford to keep blowing out bullpen arms in a game like this..

    Former Royal and Brave Kyle Davies coming in for his first MLB appearance since 2011. Smart move by the Yanks.. don't waste the bullpen in a 9-run game, which apparently Farrell doesn't know.. Breslow and Layne are 1 inning guys at most.

    And Tommy Layne walks in a run and will likely get rewarded with a bus ticket to Pawtucket after this with Robbie Ross(Uehara and a long-man will likely be recalled tomorrow).

    As I said, why the hell didn't Farrell get a long-man called up after that 19 inning game?? At least the Yankees did something with Matt Tracy(DFAd today) and Kyle Davies(signed today)

    DFA Buchholz... He's garbage again, just like last season.

    This is more what we expect from Buchholz. 4-0 now, and Napoli's error doesn't help. And Farrell will look even worse if Buchholz is knocked out early.. he didn't call up a long man after Steven Wright was sent down so Joe Kelly could be activated.

    Former Brave and Royal Kyle Davies is back in the majors for the first time in 4 years with the Yankees. Matt Tracy DFAd. Shows a severe lack of depth in the Yanks organization in pitching.. but they don't want to touch Whitley or Mitchell right now, especially considering the fragile rotation in NY.

    E9 for Snider, 3 runs for Travis, and a trip to the shower for Tillman. Bet he was expecting to cruise.. but we aren't Tampa.
