  1. Probably won't last long.. Tolleson's cleared waivers and likely will be back on the team within a few days, possibly as early as tomorrow.
  2. Collabello's stay is likely to be short. Tolleson cleared waivers and was outrighted to Buffalo. Expect him to be re-purchased and rejoin the Jays by Friday.
  3. I believe Danny Valencia is the backup infielder. He has played 2B in his career. And Collabello has experience at 3B. Otherwise, I have no clue about AA's roster management.
  4. Cobb possibly headed for Tommy John Surgery:
  5. Agreed. Weren't they complaining about Happ last year as well? Plus, Nolin and Graveman weren't big prospects.. Graveman right now is not close to MLB ready, plus got lit up in AAA his last start. Nolin currently is nowhere close to a return either. The big names in that deal were Brett Lawrie(who is struggling) and Barreto (who has been abysmal in A+ ball.)
  6. Graveman's in AAA and Nolin is still injured. And Happ's numbers are still hard to call, especially on a bad Mariners team.
  7. Shoulder sprain crashing into the wall in foul territory. Due to his previous injury history with his shoulder, he will likely be out months, not weeks.
  8. Even better news.. we don't have the worst pitching now! Boston continues to sh*t the bed.. now down 5-1 to Tampa. And losing HanRam for any long period of time, which looks likely, could sink Boston's season, and cost Farrell and Cherington their jobs.
  9. Gregorio Petit?? What the heck? Is Drew that bad?? And no surprise he grounds out, and the Jays win. Boston will sink to last place, as they are losing 4-1 to Tampa.
  10. THERE'S your Bloop single! Tie game and a blown save for Betances!
  11. BTW, the reason I said Sandoval is in decline is because he is hitting just .083 vs lefties, and should be platooned, along with Ortiz, who is also not hitting lefties. Unfortunately, HanRam's potential long-term injury pretty much puts the kibosh on that..
  12. Shoulder injury based on the highlights. That would be a devastating blow to the Red Sox if he ends up on the DL, as he is their only real threat in the lineup due to declines in Ortiz, Sandoval(who can't hit lefties) and Napoli.
  13. Former Jays catching prospect Carlos Perez called up to LAA, Butera DFAd.
  14. .242/.294/.400. BTW, without A-Rod, this offense is one of the worst in the game, even with Gardner and Ellsbury.
  15. The Dodgers also are missing McCarthy (TJS) and Ryu as well.
  16. And the Yankees aren't any better, using a mediocre Chase Whitley right now until Tanaka, Capuano(who is crap BTW) or Nova returns. And the Yanks have little pitching depth in AAA SWB.. remember, they had Kyle Davies up here earlier this season after the 19 inning game!
  17. A 4.15 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in AAA Round Rock last year isn't exactly inspiring. And he wasn't that impressive in his brief callup to the Rangers.
  18. 0.00 ERA, 17/4 K/BB ratio... In New Hampshire (AA). He's only going to LA because the Dodgers have been hit hard by injuries which have drained their minors depth. Considering he hasn't pitched well above AA, I'm not holding my breath on him being a MLB arm.
  19. West will be DFAd when the Dodgers need to call up another arm. They have had a ton of injuries to the rotation and bullpen. Plus, they have a number of players on the 60-day DL who will return later in the season.
  20. He was in AA, not AAA. And his walk rate was rising again in New Hampshire this season. There's a good chance he would have been lit up in Buffalo.
  21. Wilkins was AAA fodder, West has yet to even dominate in AAA (he was toiling in New Hampshire before this trade, a level he has spent a lot of time at in recent years, only reaching the Rangers due to a huge amount of injuries last season.)
  22. I know Matt West might have the stuff.. but there's a reason he's heading for his 3rd organization in a year. He didn't exactly have good numbers in AAA last year, and only saw the majors last season because of Texas's pitching injuries. He has yet to even dominate in AAA batters.. you fans are not scouts, and it's likely that there's something Texas and Toronto didn't like. Don't expect him to reach the Dodgers either.. he's basically roster filler, as LA is very short of depth right now due to injuries to Ryu and McCarthy.
