    Ugly? lineup for the Jays, IF the game gets in: Reyes SS Donaldson 3B Bautista RF (finally!) Smoak 1B Collabello LF Thole C Carrera CF Goins 2B Dickey P Nats lineup is little better: Escobar 3B Desmond SS Harper RF (what's your O/U on IBB's tonight?) Zimmerman 1B Ramos C Moore LF Espinosa 2B Taylor CF Zimmermann P Span out of lineup due to knee injury, may miss entire series.

    Highly doubtful the Jays play tonight. Rain is projected in Washington, DC.. doubleheader likely on Tuesday or Wednesday.

    Only if the AL East was any good. This is the worst division in baseball by a mile.. all the good teams are in the AL Central and West.

    Boy, that D-Backs/Brewers game shows no sign of end. 15th inning, tied at 6.. and the Brewers are forced to use Matt Garza in relief, screwing up the rotation.

    We can do the same with Bryce Harper.. which teams are going to start doing more. The Nats lineup isn't actually that strong. If Harper goes into a slump, they'll be in serious trouble, especially considering the pitching is mediocre outside of Scherzer.

    He must want to get fired. Sox lose 3 of 4 to the Rangers, and get the 1st place Twins tomorrow, a team that gave us a hard time with their clutch hitting.. Paul Molitor is probably looking forward to Boston looking to pad his team's lead in the AL Central (KC lost, so the Twins lead by 0.5 games)

    Once again, this division is an absolute joke. Nobody wants to win the AL East. Yanks are bad, Rays are a mystery, O's can't pitch or hit consistently, Jays can't pitch or field, and the Red Sox are awful at everything.

    Won't matter if the Nats pitching continues to be crap. They just got swept vs. the Reds. Harper can't do everything..

    No loss in the standings for the Jays. Former Blue Jays pitcher Jeese Chavez + Clippard just shut out the Yankees and took 3 of 4 in the series. Makes those Twins loss sting more.. we could've gained more ground! Don't worry.. the Yanks have tough series coming up with the Angels and Mariners (as do the Rays).

    Boston's season continues to spiral lower... Josh Hamilton just hit a walk-off double off Koji Uehara to beat the Sox 4-3.

    Oakland's leading in the 6th. If the Yanks lose, this loss will pretty much be washed away as we won't lose ground.. but Tampa will move into a 1st place tie, 3.5 up on us.

    What a terrible division. When flawed teams like the Jays are STILL in contention, you know it sucks. Yanks and Rays are just treading water, O's, Jays and Red Sox are well under .500. BTW, the O's lost 2/3 to Tampa Bay.. embarrassing performance for them, in a series they should've won.

    We'll have to wait and see.. he was just in AAA 4 days ago, and he was lit up in 2.0 IP.

    Thole and Kawasaki likely to go down when Navarro/Travis return, as Tolleson is on the DL.

    Oh boy, cue the **** AA comments-- Matt West recalled from AA Tulsa, thanks to Paco Rodriguez's injury. We'll get to see if AA was dumb, or if the Jays fanbase doesn't realize that some guys get cut for a reason (look what we saw with Preston Guilmet recently.) BTW, Matt West was just lit up in AAA recently (2.0IP, 3H, 3ER, 1BB, 1K). So I'm not hoping for much from him.

    And you wonder why the Red Sox are in last place.. Holt made a poor play at SS, then Miley commits a bad throw off a bunt from Delino DeShields Jr..

    Good god HanRam is awful in LF... that's the 2nd bad play I've seen of him in LF tonight.

    Where's the Red Sox offense? They're getting dominated by a guy making his MLB debut in Alex "Chi-Chi" Gonzalez..

    The O's are really puzzling.. this team should be better, but they just got shut out by Tampa. And when is Baltimore going to get a legit leadoff man? Machado is wasted at leadoff.
