    SUch as Ackley, Miller, and now Trumbo when he joins the Mariners. Still a confusing trade.. the Mariners aren't close to contention. Guess both the coach (McClendon) and the GM (Jack Z) are fearing for their jobs..

    WTF????? Is Seattle that desperate??? On the other hand, it's a good move for the D-Backs. They open up the OF for Tomas and 3B for Lamb, and get a catcher and relief help.

    We'll see what happens either after the game or during the off-day tomorrow. He's not the only manager on the hot seat.. McClendon in Seattle could be fired soon too, after the Yanks swept his Mariners.

    Taylor Jordan is garbage.. but the Nats are thin right now thanks to Fister and Strasburg's injuries, and Roark already in the rotation.

    Yanks sweep the Mariners.. damn. Lloyd McClendon's seat is getting really hot right now.. don't be surprised if he's fired next. But, it should be noted that in recent times, we're also 4.5 back of a crashing Tigers team and the Angels as well. I mean, Detroit is a mess right now without V-Mart. They've lost 8 of their last 10 games, Kinsler can't hit a beach ball right now, and surprisingly Gose is still hitting .300 with a high K rate.. and the rotation is terrible outside of Price.

    As for Carpenter's DFA.. he won't be on waivers long. Someone will claim him.. I can imagine Oakland is looking to claim him to help their beleaguered bullpen.

    Joey Gallo walks. And the White Sox pitching sucks.. 15-2 Rangers. Gallo's 3-4 with a HR, 4 RBIs and a BB, Corporan, who came in for Chirinos, has 5 RBIs tonight..

    Red Sox won.. Buchholz pitched a gem.. of course, he nearly beat the Twins previously, but didn't get any run support. This time, no problems.. he shut them out for 8 innings.
