    Buchholz has been good.. he's going to get a lot on the trade market when/if Boston sells at the deadline.

    9 hits tonight but awful with RISP.. they should be blowing out Tampa. TBH, Tampa has been even worse offensively.

    Goins had reps in the OF this season. There's no problem putting him there. And BTW, Zeke sucks in the OF.. one of AA's trade deadline moves should be for another OF(depending on Saunders' health), along with pitching.

    Much better. Still need voters to get Altuve to the ASG.. he deserves to be there, not Infante. Nick Castellanos third at 3B.. he's struggling to even stay on the MLB roster (he has options remaining).

    Very dumb. Morosi forgot to realize that Moore isn't actually that great, being extremely wild (see his 2013 numbers). It's uncertain what the Rays will get out of him.. his rehab numbers in Durham were less than impressive. That, and the Rays struggle to score (3.68, only Chicago White Sox and Seattle Mariners are worse.) With a tough sked coming, the Rays could fall out of contention quickly if they don't score.

    That's pretty fair. Although the top 3 could go in any order. The Rays I don't see making it... if the Rays have a bad stretch, their ownership WILL be selling heavily at the deadline, especially considering their attendance is running below expectations, making it difficult for them to be close to break-even, even with TV money and revenue sharing. Plus, there's the issue with the stadium...

    That and Hanigan is due back on Wednesday, with Swihart likely to be optioned to AAA (even if they carry 3 catchers, it will likely be short lived, considering they may not have HanRam for the Toronto series.) And Kratz probably sees an MLB job around (Seattle is rumored to be the favorite), and didn't want to be wasting time in Pawtucket.

    Agreed. And unlike Tampa, they haven't gotten fat on sub-.500 teams.. they've actually beaten the Yankees, Jays, Rays and Red Sox. It's part of the reason they'll be contending with the Yanks and Blue Jays for a postseason berth while Tampa ends up finishing 4th.

    Didn't former Blue Jay Michael Barrett do the same thing and ended up missing the rest of the season?

    Erik Kratz cleared waivers and ended up in Pawtucket. Guess the other 29 teams feel the same way the Jays felt about him... no more than minors filler even despite his D.

    If Boston even had its full roster. No Pedroia, and possibly no HanRam either, as he looks DL bound as well as he cannot swing a bat right now. The only reason they won the Tampa series was because the Rays can't buy more than 3 runs a game right now.. same reason the Jays took 2/3 from the Rays. And Dickey hasn't been that bad..
