I still think the Rays finish fourth in the AL East when all is set and done., this team has the 2nd worst home record in the East (only Boston is worse), and they don't have the offensive depth to make a deep run in the AL East, especially once they start facing their own division again. Pitching and defense will only take you so far, especially if they don't hit. And Cash's bullpen usage is going to cost him by July/August.. they've thrown the most innings in the MLB.
They also have losing records vs. the O's and Yankees, plus even though we've had trouble with them, the Jays lineup has changed dramatically since April.. this is a far better team than what the Rays faced then. Plus, Odorizzi isn't starting. As it stands, the Rays rotation will be TBA(likely a bullpen game with Andriese coming in after 2 innings), Archer and Karns.
The Rays are going to have a tough weekend with the Indians..Carrasco/Kluber/Bauer vs. Karns/Erasmo/Colome.
