  1. Casali broke up Salazar's no hit bid.. but no HR this time.
  2. Mushroom! Much needed clutch hit. Now let's get a few more and get back in this game.
  3. Deja vu? Danny Salazar has yet to give up an H so far vs. the Rays.
  4. Thank goodness we got out of that.. this game is far from over. After all, Ed-Rod struggles usually after the first time thru the order.
  5. And out goes Estrada.. after that 468 ft. HR, no surprise!
  6. Holy, that was an absolute meatball that Ortiz just hit.
  7. All teams go through this. Of course, if you're Tampa, this is common...
  8. Well, the O's are imploding as we speak, and Tampa still can't buy a run.. but the Jays need to get this one.
  9. One thing to consider on Ed-Rod.. he gives up a .375 AVG in the 2nd time through the order, which has been a major problem in recent starts.
  10. Man, this team is really snake-bitten right now..
  11. And Donaldson getting a half-day off by DHing. Got to put our best lineup out there vs. left-handers.
  12. Grady Sizemore is in the lineup again for the Rays.. what is it with Cash anyway? Butler goes into one slump and he's glued to the bench! And why is Sizemore still playing in the MLB? Looks like the Rays clock has struck midnight, and the team's about to regress back to the 4th/5th place team they were projected to be. Just for proof:
  13. Nope. Illness.
  14. Exactly. One winning streak for the Jays and they'll be in first. And another thing.. the AL is hyper-competitive right now, with 10 teams over .500, and a 7.5 game separation between the worst record and the wild cards. Basically, nobody is out of it. And the AL East is REALLY tight.. only 1 game separates 1st and 4th, with Boston being deep in last. All the horrid teams are in the NL, in which the Cards, Dodgers and Giants dominate, and there are 8 teams below .500 (the Cards have 51 wins! No team is even close to that in all of baseball..) The NL East is especially bad.. only the Mets and Nats are contending, and the rest of the division is garbage. Same with the NL West with the Dodgers and Giants.. but neither of those two are running away with it, as Arizona is still a major risk.
  15. Cola is still hitting .302 in June. And most of the Jays are in a slump right now, not just Collabello, mostly because they've faced good pitching in Archer, Buchholz and Gallardo.
  16. Please note the new TV deal as well in the valuation. All other franchises also saw big gains.
  17. Rays can't take on money, and may end up selling instead just to avoid huge financial losses they're headed for due to below-expected attendance, even with TV and revenue sharing money. So quit giving stupid trade ideas. And besides, the Jays are in contention... EE isn't going anywhere.
  18. Perhaps facing a lefty who we're facing for the 2nd time will help?
  19. Wow does Belisario ever suck.. aren't we glad Ronald chose not to sign with the Jays!
  20. Well, on the bright side, Tampa, Baltimore and Minnesota are losing. And go Angels for tonight! At least the rest of the Red Sox series is very winnable..
