    Using Johnathon Holder for one thing.. who really belongs in AAA while Chad Green is fresh (remember, they had an off day due to the snowstorm). Then he went to Kahnle, a guy who already was part of the blowup vs. the Jays last series.

    Boone the bullpen blower! 3 games now his bullpen follies have cost the Yankees a lead.

    Angels suffering pitching injuries already--Shoemaker to the DL (forearm strain). Bridwell, who struggled this spring, called up.. And why are the Rays still a team? Already down 4-1.. might as well give the Yanks a W, as the Rays offense is non-existent..

    He's going to start losing playing time to Solarte once Donaldson is able to play 3B again (who has 2B experience) if he doesn't start hitting soon. Jays will not wait forever for him to hit..

    A's attendance last night: 7,416. Man, some cities are seeing big attendance dropoffs early this season--is it due to tanking, early start, or apathy?

    Too bad the O's offense is absolutely putrid-- 6 RUNS in 4 games. That's it. Worst batting average, OBP in baseball.. UPDATE: Mancini just homered.

    We finally are above .500! Would like to see some more hitting though.. but the pitching's been great!

    The Orioles are awful at hitting the baseball--getting dominated by the Astros, and the O's haven't scored a run in 16 innings now.. this team is awful.

    Well, there goes Lopez's win.. Rays and Mariners fans know this very well about Farquhar blowing games. Now the Jays just need to hold this 1-run lead..

    White Sox are tough to call--not enough sample size, especially when their wins are against the tanking Royals.. who lost to Detroit today!

    Break up the Pirates! They're 4-0! Twins pitching is still questionable--they walked 11 batters today (Polanco 4 times). Looks like Minnesota got exposed by the fact they're not facing an impatient O's team..

    The Royals are garbage.. 0-3 to start, and can't even beat the last place Tiggers. Their pitching is so awful..

    Looks like the Tiggers will get on the board with a W first--Royals are pathetic. Oh, and Duda pulled a hammy. Twins are getting shelled by the Pirates..Lance Lynn walked 6 batters, and Moran hit a grand salami!

    My bet's the Royals. Padres, Reds and Tiggers have difficult competition this series.

    The Tiggers are terrible. Pirates just made them walk the plank all weekend, especially after that opener where a bad slide by Castellanos trying to score the winning run cost them and eventually led to a Pirates win.. sure they're scoring runs, but the pitching is so horrible outside of Fulmer, it's making it difficult for Detroit to win games. D's bad as well. And more futility tomorrow, as they're playing the Royals, another team destined for a race for the #1 pick.. what's your bet we see lots of runs due to bad pitching? And the O's--Twins limited them to 11 hits the entire weekend. They still are waiting for the 3-run HR..and Minnesota exploited it. Having no Mark Trumbo isn't helping either..and their SP is a dumpster fire after Bundy, and good chance they'll be in a huge hole by next weekend with their sets vs. Houston and the Yankees.. how long before Machado demands a trade out of that organization, especially with free agency looming at year's end?

    And Ohtani gets his 1st MLB win--though the Angels bullpen made it an adventure.

    Angels bullpen's been struggling in the 9th.. tying run at the plate, Parker already out of the game for Middleton..

    At the rate things are going, the fans aren't going to wait long.. by the time their prospects get called up, they'll be putting up Expos-level attendance when the fans give up on the team, and the team will be deep under .500.. but I'm expecting changes in Tampa in the coming week if they struggle vs. the Yankees this week.
