  1. That would be ideal. A closer with an ERA over 8. f*** me.
  2. Gibbons, please don't bring on Santa in the 9th. Please. http://deadhomersociety.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/trash-of-the-titans1.png?w=655
  3. Think it's nerve-wracking now? Wait until Santos comes up in the 8th/9th...... Gibbons: "Hey Santa, you're up!" Santos: "Que?" http://collegetimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/BatHomer.jpg
  4. Now a questionable strike? Quick conspiracy theory - the real umps are on strike as per the NFL, but we just didn't notice....
  5. Delabar has been bad, but that near miss was all on the ump IMO. Atrocious pitch calling.
  6. Morrow needs to learn to throw a knuckleball. Then we can trade him to the mets for D'Arnaud and Syndergaard. I swear it's in the long range planning for PB/AA.
  7. Is it just me or was there a massive hole there due to where Lawrie and Reyes were positioned?
  8. Sorry to ask, but is there a live stream for this game?
  9. Not worried about our lack of depth in pitching, batting, catching, the infield and the outfield. AA is all over it. http://www.funflashgames.com/games/thumbs/5875_250.jpg
  10. Agreed. Just look at all those catchers out there who would look good in a Jays uniform. How about Travis D'Arnaud? Or Jeff Mathis? Mike Napoli? John Buck? JP Arencibia? No wait, scratch that last one..............
  11. Fair question. I agree that Reyes over his career is a better player than Hech, no contest right now. But I'm worried that Reyes has glass legs and his salary obligations are going to feel like an albatross in 2-3 years time. I've watched Hechavarria quite a bit this year and I think he has a legitimate shot as a major leaguer. Granted he's on a s***** team, but I think he can get the job done and he's cheap, as in really cheap for years to come.
  12. Yep, injuries, age and money; I find these important when judging a players value. Adeiny was negative value in his first full f***ing season in the majors. Now, not. Do you watch games?
  13. My point exactly f***wit. Reyes is constantly injured and is not getting any younger; Hechavarria is young and on the upswing. Reye's career may be entering it's later declining stages, Hechavarria the opposite. I know which one I would choose right now and our astroturf is not going to do Reyes any favours in the long run either.
