    Not dissimilar to last year with Yanks who banked so many W's early, and then fell off, but held on.

    So much just depends on Vlad being an '21 'ish aircraft carrier and Kirk/Varsho et al coming out of the abyss. The pen and rotation will keep them in most games but the offense needs to steal some W's when they don't.

    I've been thinking this, and about how I'm going to try and enjoy it lol. O's and TB "its early" banked Ws loom large. I don't expect TB to crater same as Yanks in '22 bent but didnt break. Its going to be crazy WC ride of highs and lows for a 4/5 teams. One really bad or really good 10 game stretch could be the diff its so tight.

    Nice W and good interview with KK at the end. Will be sad to see him go at the deadline when they move Varsho to CF and pick up a heavy RHH bat. Its the right move.

    For sure. He probably doesn’t get sent without that bobble. Not sure why the pick off attempt 2 strikes 2 out. Focus on the batter and you are out of there.

    Seems bizarre at this point in ‘21 and ‘22 that some were advocating a long term deal for him $350M + vehemently. Some may still be.

    I know all IP count but without the 27 inning scoreless streak...yeesh. He is keeping them in it today. Should be 3-0. When he is on he is fun to watch.

    Varsho swings at 92 MPH pitch 16 inches up to K. Kirk and he have been a black hole for most part.

    Thats such a tweener. He broke to his right in the hole for the GB and then broke back to bag. Bassitt has to get there too and then they need to communicate real time or that happens. Also where would this team be without Whit's steadiness? Nice one!

    Funny. We are kind of just taking solid starts from Berrios for granted now. Last year his baseball savant page was a train wreck. Its pretty awesome. I can't even tell whats he has changed this year really. He always had the movement. Just better spots and more change ups well located I guess.
