    Of 92 votes not one for Shi Dividi. That's incredible juxtaposed against Davis's total, given how much we see and read him. Is he doing something right or is he innocuous? I think he is doing something right. He is a good reporter. Doesn't reflect a lot of bias in his stories but also isn't milk toast. I had a 5 min chat with him this season in a concession lineup at Minute Maid...just seemed like a decent guy at first blush.

    Love Jose, But I mentioned that to SJF in another thread yesterday as he said Edwin and Jose would extend. I don't think so on Jose. Im not thinking 4/5 @20mm+ per is a wise investment on a 36 year old with D limitations. He has missed a good part of a couple seasons already due to injury.

    Listened to an interview with Brunt the other day talking about it and he said that Edwin was deeply emotionally hurt over the "E5" times. Dark time. Brunt said he choked up watching the joy on Edwin's face when the "hat trick" thing happened much to the suprise and delight of the big guy. It was a "full circle" moment for Edwin. Thought that was cool.

    The piece he did on E-Rex in the Dom Rep is brilliant in my view. He really captured the man...his life and family...and the highs and lows of his career. He has that voice and captures the emotional feel without over playing it.

    Agree with everything you wrote. The decision seems a little odd. Of course, I'm hoping it works out well. Sim games are much diff than live game action obviously.

    Meanwhile back in MLB....KC is beating ChiSox 6-4 in the 8th. Really hoping the boys come out firing on all cylinders against Rays. Price pitching on 11 days rest is going to be interesting. Gibby, at least with the pen, is a "bring them in to keep them sharp" guy. If Price is lights out...kudos will fly. If he is not...recriminations will fly.

    Listening to Brunt talk about his interview with Jose, and the question of his contract expiring end of next year, I doubt it. We will see. Mind you you said Stro would be back this year and I said I didn't think so. Jose is all business and he knows its his last deal. We will have an advantage given his local business interests and long attachment to TOR, but not that much. When Beltran gets 3/45, I cringe at what Jose will cost @ 36 juxtaposed against declining defensive abilities. 4 or 5 @ 20mm each?

    ^ this. If they can stay healthy 2016 for a good part of the season that is a productive trio.

    They have some GREAT young players @ SS and with Betts. Even JBJ looks like he has found an MLB stick. So far Panda and H Ramirez have been busts.

    Saw they do that in when I was in Anaheim and in Minute Maid when their team does something..it actually is kind of cool. Fires things up. Minute Maid there is an explosion...they crank "you dropped a bomb on me....baby" and the orange train fires up lol. We lost all 4 games that series so I was getting f-ing sick of it by the end.

    Cant claim to be the most educated fan now and was less so in 85-93 when wildly cheering on the Jays applauding less informed stats. But if you look at Border stats everyone ran wild on us in the playoffs. Im not sure if that was just on the pitchers or a combo. He hit like crazy in winning WS MVP. so often the case when you see aging Renteria and Scutaro winning MVP awards.

    Look...I haven't read your response but I'm calling truce. Ive been waiting 22 years to be in this situation and I'm not interesting in duelling message board scraps. Just want to talk ball and be a Jays fan with other similarly obsessed fans. I think you a good poster and will leave it at that.
