    Yup. Cant handle Tabby. They lit up over Smoak walking back to dugout on a pitch called a ball.

    The inability to put balls in play can be maddening. K rates are alarming for guys like Smoak, Saunders...Upton. Lucky to score there.

    Ya, for sure. Don't mind that risk to try and make something happen. Pillar stole 25 bags last yr and just isn't running much.

    Exactly. At least since the Braves deal. Against RHP he just isn't that good and we cant expect much. K rate is right there with Smoak at 30%.

    Watching Hamels pitch tonight reminds me of our thread last yr when it was rumoured AA was pursuing him before Price, but he wouldn't go to TOR. (think it got deleted) That's too bad with his control and price. Consistent 4 ish WAR SP, and a horse.

    3.59 FIP and worth .5 WAR out of then pen after a tough start. Not last year but he has a lot time to get on a roll. Wouldn't call that horrible.

    If you look @ the stat line for Travis 2015 and 2016 he is right there almost with his torrid start from 2015. He was a little rusty and slumped some coming out of a very short rehab, but he is quietly putting together similar numbers to last yr. We got a good one here. Buh-bye Gose.

    I dunno. Just imagine Miller in our pen. Feeling better about 7-9? If we can't get a mid rotation SP his arm can add wins to any good team. He is one guy who is under control and worth the $ he is getting paid. Yanks have used that deal and Chapman to load up. And they still have Betances. Shrewd moves.
