    Watched the Jays take care of the Rays 7-0 and then stayed up until the 6th with the O's vs A's with them up 1-0. Couldn't stay up. This am carefully open my score app very first thing I did...1-0! First place. Feels good. O's Hangout must be losing it over their lack of offense vs A's.

    Ya know Id cut him some slack for this without his demands and performance to start spring training. His demands were so outrageous that they had to be predicated on the basis that he felt some how some way (yoga etc) he would be in the OF and productive on a daily basis. All these injuries do is highlight the risk associated with a long term deal with someone who is aging and whose production has been already in decline from his 8 and 6 WAR seasons for some time.

    Jesus. What a f***ing horrible season for Jose. 114 wRC+ and 0.7 WAR. Can't stay on the field for all the talk that he would defy aging curves with YOGA etc. Cant throw. All this after announcing alleged 6/150 contract demands to begin Spring Training. This really sucks for us with 2/3 of our OF down and a "walker" in LF on D. Junior Lake is horrible at everything. Thank Christ we traded for BJ.(I'll call him Melvin when he starts hitting)

    You say that likes it's nothing. 2 war is his best season so far. 17 mm. What did Shapiro say the FA value/ WAR is roughly? 8-9 MM? Like I said it's probably worth the risk.

    Even a QO for Saunders is a risk, but I'd probably do take it. Down side is a one year over pay. Guy is a K machine and the 2016 AS game will be the high point in his career.

    At least he is BBing more. His OBP now is the exact same as 2015 year. .5 WAR. Ug. His K rate is still a lot higher than 2015, but he is still coming off that epic first 6 weeks of season where he forgot he was a MLB hitter. We have too many guys with high K rates. "yaaa got ta put tha baaawwwlll in play"

    I still think the 0's will win the Div, but we have a great shot. Our offense has to get its collective s*** together. For a team that has done as well as we have, it seems like we haven't hit on all cylinders yet and played our best ball. This could be a great thing and we get a head of steam at the right time, or we could just sort of carry on this way. At the end of the days 64 wins is 64 wins and that ain't bad thus far. As much as some complain about the bats, I can't imaging the O's hangout is too happy about getting owned by the A's arms the last 2 games and losing to "easy teams to beat".

    He will be back in Sept. I was actually impressed with him despite the bad outing and surprised he was sent down last night. The Rays were havin a night. They put up great ABs all game.

    After Buck and Tabby fapped so much he was a "strike thrower" I knew he was doomed. He proceeded to walk 2. Those guys are the kiss of death. Shame though. I thought he could contribute some value.

    Bases juiced and 3 hitters can't get one out of the IF. I don't think Saunders saw one strike on his K. Frustrating.

    Had a scroll through. Helton and some interesting names. Geoff Jenkins is little league coach for my buddy's kid who is 8. They live in Phoenix, AZ. Pretty cool to have coach with 200 mlb hrs as your coach.

    Yes, but didn't Buck and Tabby fap enough for all of us? That was a scary inning. The BBs are still an issue, although he has been much better than 5/9 in Seattle.

    Yes, but the fact his 2016 is tracking so closely to last year, after being out so long and having a short game action rehab, is really encouraging. He is back to spraying the ball all over and he has 10 f***ing dingers already. I'll take it! He has been more than I thought he would be this year.

    Nice bump. I just cant do it. Even if it makes some rational sense somehow. Our time together has come to end. If we get into playoffs, no way he gets the ball.

    Even after that he had 2 more assists in one game against the Yanks 2015 on some great throws. I thought he was back. But I've seen nothing this season. It's brutal.

    The K to Longoria was something filthy. They could have scored on Jose easily. We caught a huge lift on that. Now let's score some runs!
