    Steve Phillips, FWIW, was speculating Jose value has declined so much he is looking at 2/26 with an option year. Less than Beltre deal.

    He has been pretty impressive. The 18% HR/FB is a head scratcher. Hopefully he gets on the right side of that stat for the rest of 2016.

    I've not been as aggressive as so many on RA, and am coming out of the closet to admit I started an appreciation thread last year. But has been very bad and the narrative that he finishes strong is not showing up in the numbers. I'd love to see us skip his starts. But that throws us right back into the IP issues for Sanchez and Stro.

    Don't know. They actually have a peanut free section at the RC, but not for every game. Some people have pretty severe allergies. My little guy has a peanut allergy but so far not too severe so he sits amongst it all at the stadiums. Freaks him out a little though. I bring an epipen.

    His injury history, D and his K rate are major concerns. But having said that a QO is worth the risk he accepts. If he continues to tank for the remainder of 2016 then obviously they will have to reconsider. He is mired in a deep rut.

    lol. My kid loves ball but my wife and he bitches if I'm on our board and watching the games all the time, which I do. He will watch the Jays with me most times and so will the wife. They both LOVE going to the games live. This whole year "win" year its felt like a pennant race since game 1. SEPT could be unreal intense. Have been to 5 games this year in TOR coming in from Calgary. May go to more in TOR. Also looking at Anaheim for mid Sept. Had a great time there last year in Aug. watching the Jays.
