Nice job Ray to settle down a carnival on D the last two innings. Had to throw way too many extra pitches. Vlad had an easy out there...settle down and make an out at least. 5 run lead? It ain't over with our depleted pen. -

Small town NS in early 70's, my Grandfather was in hospital with leukemia. I used to go see him there and we would walk slowly together down to the "TV Room" at the hospital where he would smoke his pipe and watch the World Series on a black and white TV. That got me into baseball and little league.

I had 3 older brothers and suffered similarly in small town NS. No shock collars but they loved to lock me outside in my underwear in the snow...hang me out the upstairs window by my feet....make me eat raw onions....pour Tabasco sauce down my throat...kick me threw a window etc etc etc. The result has been a high pain tolerance threshold and decades of counselling lol. I feel Wendle's pain.

Agree with this post. Its an evolution of the game much like HR & launch angle focus with a lack of concern for K's. I'd add Kershaw and Yarbrough to that list. Kershaw lost 2-3 MPH off his FB but he is still effective, although i see his V has ticked back up in 21 so far. Chatwood did his job for again last night fighting some s*** show umping performance. -

Time to bump Chatwood fap thread. He has been incredible for us. Hoskins lucky he got that 2 strike call. Just terrible ump show.

Holy f*** just watched his Ks on link. That is just ridiculous. Virtually no chance. Plus CB, Slider down in the zone, or 98 on the black. Unreal. 10/340mm Player Lindor K's 3 times.

Royals had our number in series this year and they started on a roll. I wondered if it was sustainable but wasnt paying much attention to them. Checked the standings yesterday and did a double take they are now 17-21 after going 1-9. Soo..... I think the BoSox are much better than 20 but I don't think they are as good as they have played. Martinez, Bogaerts and Devers are red hot at the same time, and they are winning blow outs and all their close games it seems. We have to stay close and hope we get healthier.
