    At a minimum Diaz awarded home and KK on 2B. Their OF a knocked it out of play. And it was a 3-2 2 out pitch. Runner was on the move. Some serious ******** there.

    This team can compete for a ring next year and should. Sure I want a competitive sustainable squad. Also don’t want to chase the perennial prospect carrot. For the right deal I’d give my left nut for Ramirez for the next 2 seasons.

    That 15 team with some more luck and without an ump roto reutering their ars in Game 6 is in the WS. We had some s***** seasons after 15 and 16 but those 2 years re energized the franchise/fan base. Been a fan over 40 years and that dry spell since 93 leading up to 2015 was horrific. Im with DP on taking our time. This squad is still light on developed pitching. Teams like MIL and LAD can lose elite offensive seasons from Yelich and Bellinger and still compete in large part because of arms they have developed and acquired. Rays same. Spending $500-600mm on 2 young offensive assets is something I'm happy to be patient on.

    Huddy and I are watching. Good game. Angel being his usual self. He is so f***ing bad. We’ve Been looking at SF players stats all game. They all had the resurrection of Sweet Baby Jesus at one time this year. Urias is fun to watch. Command. In out up down.

    Love me some Rowdy. Ball was crushed. Nice to see him have some success under the bright lights.

    Hope for LHH conforto bounce back. For all of Lourdes solid 2/3 of the season he still blows in the OF and was worth only 1.5 WAR. Great for 3mm aav but not that great.

    I think those 2 with 3 years of Lourdes for 3mm aav would be of interest to them. It’s a lesser under market deal for a proven MLB talent with upside and then years of control and cheap seasons from the other 2.

    Watching Brantley yesterday for HOU its so apparent why the Jays made a run at him. His LH bat would have been ideal for our line up. 2/32 was a solid deal for him at 34

    Thanks Brownie. I dont buy that instagram post though. Have you seen the pitch location on the box? I haven't. Its above the the zone 2-5 inches I would bet. I kept replaying it on PVR last night. When someone doesn't just get FB contact on a ball hit in that location I call it getting on top of it. Stand to be corrected though. What a great swing regardless.

    That pitch to Schwarber HR at 97 was great. I don’t how he got on top of it. Guys hands and bat are so quick. OTOH that pitch to Xander was awful. Strange game. BoSox hot at right time.

    I hate both these teams and I am seething with envy we aren’t hosting this game. f***ing bosox. f***ing yanks. I want them to bludgeon each other and both lose lol. On the other hand suck it Cole. You got rocked. Gio is so solid on D.

    Its been said before many times but Grichuk..so much suck this year for $10.4mm. Gave him 545 PAs and he gave us 0.4 WAR.

    Agree. But to me so was the Ryu and Springer signings...and the JD deal. We just dont know all the motivations on the other end of a deal. I like Matt Chapman option. Even though another RHH, who K's a lot, elite D and even in a down offensive year worth 3.5 WAR.

    I have similar concerns about Ray. 2 pitches max effort. BBs history. TB couldn't get to his high FB and NYY crushed it in his last starts. Have 0 interest in a 5 year deal for him which some dumbass GM will give him.

    I don't think you can afford a 3B with no power in the AL East. Espy flew under the radar and put up incredible numbers. I don't trust them to stick if he starts. We had a great offence but it was often inconsistent. We need a solid LHH bat or SH at that position. We are too RHH dominant and so many pens now are throwing RHP V with filthy breaking balls at them. Also...we are probably losing 45 HRs from Marcus or paying a s*** ton to try and keep them. I like the responses on Ramirez from all. Interesting discussion.

    Be ironic to tap the A's again for another elite 3B without giving much up. One of AA's better deals bringing JD over.

    Seager is somewhat intriguing. LHH - 2.5 fWAR with a 99 wRC+. Kind of a LHH Grichuk with more power when we comes to OBP and Ks this year. I don't know. Doesn't add that much if he doesn't rebound at 34. Still would love to know cost of Ramirez. He just checks so many boxes for the 22 team and allows us to use Biggio/Espy at 2B. Lourdes plus top prospect/Nate? Lourdes has upside, control in an under market deal. I have no idea. I don't see us signing Semien or Ray.
