    Don't have a ton of confidence in Richards. Deep counts. Contact. But he usually gets the job done. His change is nasty. Nice job.

    I think Gary Sanchez's career could be over in next year or two. He sucks behind the plate and he hasn't hit enough since 2017 to be an effective DH. Sano is in kind of in the same boat.

    I was trying to figure cortez out. He throws across the body and hides the ball well. Decent breaking ball. Pitch seems like it's on the hitter quicker than the speed. Loup has made a solid career of similar tricks. I don't know.

    Was watching Sunday night baseball and didn't realize it's on 2 channels. One is this Kay Rod telecast I had on for an hour. My ears were bleeding it was so bad. Looked at guide and thankfully I don't have to subject myself to that to watch a f***ing baseball game. Man is that bad. A Rod is a guy for small doses.

    Man his V has been down and he throws a lot of pitches but he has been money for us. Good luck to Buck. Sad to hear about his cancer.

    Sucks but I can see the gamble with 2 out. If he makes it he can score on a base hit. That was a great play on both ends to get him.

    We are pretty lucky Smith threw the ball into RF. We wasted a lot of opportunity. Hope we can tack a couple on here and shut them down. Cimber vs LHH ers is not my favourite thing to watch.

    Just catching up on PVR. Cant complain up 4-2 but some of our at bats have been really bad. So much chase. Especially away. I don't know if it's the bad zones from the umps, overly aggressive hitting or great stuff but the pitch selection and discipline at the plate needs to come around. Painful.

    Kills me when excuses are made for umps because we now have the strike box. f*** that. The problem isn't the box. It's the umpiring. The box has exposed that we need a technological solution to improve the consistency and fairness of the game. We don't need umpire shows. Nobody pays to watch them.

    Ya it is. If he is anything close to 20 or 1st half 21 he gives us a much stronger rotation. The guys eats $20mm this year and next, limiting us on other options, so if we can we need to salvage value.

    Jays have a high performance team and the days off are planned to create max performance probability, and presumably durability. Not PHing Springer for Zimmer in the 6th with 2 on doesn't make sense to me. Springer can get hurt in so many ways, and with a day off tomorrow, was him playing OF 2-3 innings and having 2 PAs that much of a consideration? These games now matter as much as later in the year, and not much point in a healthy Springer if we don't produce enough W's. A hit from George could have buried the A's at that point, and the probability delta of him doing damage over Zimmer is dramatic.

    Ryu 2nd half 21 and first 2 starts feels Buehrle ish for me. He put up 8 WAR over 3 seasons. In 14 he was good. Logged a lot of IP, but was pretty much toast at the end. I remember they tried to let get to 200 IP again in 2015 and brought him in in relief. He just couldn't get an out and was left off playoff roster.

    100%. Will be seriously happy when it's a consistent zone for both teams decided electronically. As I watch Garcia fill the zone with 94 and not get get the right call.

    Been missing some of this game. 2 runners on and zimmer hits over springer PH in tie game? Cause ummm he is a LHH? Is springer hurt? Is Montoyo brain dead?

    Really no excuses anyone can make for Ryu now when you at the 2nd half last year and this. It's the same story. Limited command and hard contact. Concerning.

    Horrible game. Just awful. Gausman was great. Glass half full a split on the road vs the Yanks isn't that bad. Bounce back tomorrow.
