    Series win! Tough loss today but consolation prize is people will stop talking about a consecutive save streak for Romano. He has been impressive but I found that annoying. So many other more meaningful things to talk about.

    If you are suggesting im not patient for Biggio you misread my post. Im saying he has shown enough in the past that we need to give him a chance to get his LH bat going. It would be a big asset. Its been a rough start tiny sample 22.

    Ya, we are spoiled with the kid. This is a tough line up and he is through 5 with 2 runs so far in their stupid home park. He battles even without his best stuff.

    I like Tapia hitting 9th trying to turn the line up over. Ok with Biggio in same role as when he is right with his OBP. Right now he ain't right.

    not sure what you are saying? Springer hit a home run in his first AB for us leading off and has a career statistical body of success in that role, and if the order comes around late in the game I want Springer up over Tapia. You want Tapia to lead off?

    Urquidy cruising last 2 innings. One of those RHP with a big mix that can give us fits if they lock into a rhythm. Need the big man to find some black in this inning and keep it tight.

    Ya. I'm ok with Biggio getting some at bats. I don't see Zimmer as a better hitting option. Need Manoah to lock in this inning.

    That found money for the yanks with his magic act can f*** right off anytime now. Also cool to see Miggy get 3000 but watching him and Pujols leg out the last few seasons where they are a shadow of what I remember (in contrast with Cruz and say Ortiz) has actually been sad and not much fun.

    Only 10% of the season gone and reluctantly have to say Espy has earned for now anyway the 2B job. For his D alone almost. I like the EV & hard hit rate increase he is showing. He just gives me so much confidence he is going to make almost every routine play and a lot of the touch chances. I can live with his current 85 wRC+ with plus D in the line up we have. Have high hopes for Cavan looking back on his 19 and 20 seasons and I think we badly need plus LH bats in the line up, but he is never going to be as good on D and the league just keeping beating him at the plate. Its early and lots of time to rebound but I do agree that Espy has been good enough that Biggio will have to earn the looks he gets now.

    Pen was very good early last year too. I did a thread fapping Chatwood to my ever living shame. But I agree the toolshed is better stocked. I don't even know what to say about that game. Heart attack salad with Romano whose V is back. Great D. Thornton. Zimmer & Espy. Strip wasn't bad. Vlad driving around the base on clutch Chappy hit. Contributions from the unexpected = Pure baseball. I still feel like this whole team has an extra gear we have yet to see.

    Missed the game on a flight. Just caught it on PVR and now chuckling reading this thread. I knew we won, but watching it still stressed me out. I'm shocked and so happy Romano got through that. Thank god the FO got Chapman. I cringe at the thought of Biggio being there today in his place. Nice W! Huge. Also what a dumb troll. At least wait until you see if Romano blows it instead of leading with your chin on a series loss at home.
