    Still fast. 85th percentile sprint speed. Also a "professional hitter".

    Bo's wRC+ vs LHP is down 100 points from last year. We are facing the lowest number of at bats against LHP recorded since the 20s.

    We got hot at end of last season when we got to TOR, and fans were loving all the joking around. We missed the playoffs by a game and many wrapped themselves around the "if only we played all year in Toronto" flag. I always thought that narrative was ********. We benefitted from those parks too. When we suck the clown show becomes a negative. I don't care what they do as long as they win enough.

    For sure. I think we will make it, but I don't want to just make the playoffs. A quick exit in an away wildcard series, for example, would not make me view this as a successful step forward season. Especially given the new playoff spot. Thats just me. Maybe unrealistic expectations, but I feel we missed an even better opp last year (a fixable one in the pen) and I cant get over that lol.

    Again. We have to play .600 ball the rest of the schedule to get 90 W's. Less than 2021 total. I have to say I hoped we would never be in this position, but not totally surprised. Lots of fans overlooked how many freakishly good seasons we had on the team last year. Any way you slice it losing a series in late August at home to the Angels is very disappointing.

    Baseball. Unfortunately we have 68 wins and the Astros have banked 81. They can afford these kinds of strange outcomes. Less so for us. We need to take advantage of Rays and M losses, Especially against the Angels. Ohtani was great but Angels not exactly known for their pitching lol. We did zero against a very middle of the road pen arm for last 6 outs. Need a W today.

    Man. Don't know if anyone is watching this recap of the 92 World Series. Such nostalgia for me. Awesome. Crazily I remember so much of the plays like yesterday. I so want Jays fans to get the feeling again a lot of us were so lucky to experience...back to back.

    2016 was still AA's team. Atkins started Dec '15. If you look at the roster/moves between then and the end of '16, you have to squint really hard from the Atkins fanboy seats to give him much, if any, credit for the '16 run. At that time they were still figuring out where the Executive washrooms were in the offices. In any case AA was still trying to run the team until they were able to jettison him, when he went on to even better things. Yesterdays start by White was brutal. Two 4 inning decent outings and one bad one.

    Funny the narratives shift from Armageddon to plan the parade. We have had one fake playoff game blowout loss in his tenure, missed playoffs by a gm last year and there are still 6 weeks of dogfight ahead in '22 because we didnt bank enough W's early on. He made some deadline moves and some seem to be working out well so far. Bravo. Would have been brain dead not to make some adds. Lets see how it goes. Fingers crossed we make it in and get hot at the right time. Lets hope the rotation and pen keep rolling. One game at a time. Been a nice 7-3 stretch. This road trip travel will be a bit of a challenge. Late night last night.

    I know we won the series which is always a good thing, but another winnable sweep game. Rays and Sea W today. Bo and Teo D sloppy and hitting with RISP issues.

    Don't get why Vlad fishes for those worm burners and doesn't look for something up in the zone in those situations. He is Vlad. Spit on em.

    Tapia had a good hot streak but he is almost useless. Walks 3% of the time. Swings at everything. Mediocre D. Worth less WAR this year than even Grichuk.
