    True, obviously. That leaves one other option to hope for, and that is that this club loses as many games as possible, whilst Encarnacion, Bautista, Reyes, Rasmus, Dickey, Buehrle, Morrow, Janssen, Santos, Delabar, Cecil, McGowan (lol), Izturis, and Navarro (forget anyone?) stay healthy and have good seasons and raise their trade value. We then commence the tear-down and harvest a nice crop of top-150 prospects and promising players/reclamation projects 25yrs and under. Could be a golden age for this place, F5 buttons would be exterminated far and wide.

    Barring any major surprises either positive or negative, my gut tells me we can expect to win around 85 games. Top-6 AL offence, bottom-6 rotation. If everything goes right, perhaps 90, with our usual level of luck as of late, perhaps 75. Looking forward to the rebuild. Hoping our tradeable assets stay healthy and have good seasons by the deadline.

    Good. Perhaps the FO has already been given the go-ahead by The Board to ease off the win-now s***, and reset this club's direction to something closer to what we were doing prior to the Marlins trade. I can actually see this offseason as something of a Stealth Tank move when I try really hard to convince myself of it, and that fills me with hope, gentlemen.

I'm honestly shocked that none of the mods have dealt with him yet, wasn't that one of the main reasons we fled to this board in the first place? Ah well.

    Prepare for people to hate you for improving yourself. IRL, not talking about the gremlins on here. Men are just like women in that they seek to prevent their sexual competitors from gaining a leg up on them in any way. You're still in school, see how the ugly girls harbour a barely-hidden hatred for the pretty girls? It's like that with men too, but they try to hide it better, and seek to coat their jealousy with lame humour and "I'm just breaking your balls man". If nobody's gunning for you, just means you're not worth gunning for. People hate on the Bankees, not so much with the Jays. Edit: good for you man, wish I started taking care of myself when I was a teen. I would have enjoyed the first 26 years or so of my life a looooooooooot more I'm sure had I had a clue back then.

    Perhaps they would have been even taller had they not done so? Exactly how you described it; heard it from so many different people, never heard anything to the contrary. Never bothered to dig any deeper because I didn't even step foot in a gym until I was like 25.

    No. You're projecting your s*** onto me. You engaged me, acting butthurt because, by your own implication, I was stirring up feelings of inadequacy you harbour towards yourself. You acted as if I was accusing you personally of being a loser, when I never even directed a single post towards you. So............yeah. Deal with your own s*** brother, don't expect others to pander down to your level as a panacea for your own refusal to do whatever is necessary for you to feel self-confident. And whatever you do, DO NOT implicate yourself by taking s*** to heart when it's not even directed at you, this behaviour just confirms that you identify with the insults, and the only reason somebody would do so was if they considered them to be somewhat or entirely accurate in terms of how they perceive themselves.

    I've already given up, to be honest. I'd like to see Drabek, Hutchison and Stroman feature heavily this season, especially after the first couple months when it's undeniable that we are teh suck. I'm actually looking forward to the tear-down, a competent GM could reap a huge haul for the valuable players on our 25-man, and if done right, we might just find ourselves in a better position than we were in before AA lost his mind or was ordered to lose his mind.

In the course of my 3-day derpfest I've had on here I'm obviously just stirring up some unpleasant feelings you have towards yourself, by your own implication.

    The marginal upgrade in WAR for '14 from Stroman to Shark is not worth Sanchez/Stroman +, especially when we begin the inevitable rebuild in around 8 months. If Shark was the difference between making the playoffs or not different story, but this team as currently constructed isn't even really close. Depressing offseason.

    They all have long-term girlfriends or wives. I'm the only one that's stayed free and that has a HUUUUUUUUGE amount to do with why I'm so carefree and light and they're so stressed and feeling trapped in their lives. It's funny man, I can remember being like 6 and having discussions with my lil friends about how I don't understand why men and women get married because they all seem so miserable. lol

    See my earlier comment about work being slow this week. Holiday season and all, everyone else around here is surfing f***book or derping on JewTube, so I nerd out on Jays/TFC/Raptors boards. Enjoying the downtime while it lasts. Stop being so f***ing sensitive to my obvious f***ery, you just expose yourself as the friendless shut-in by taking s*** like that thrown out into the ether personally, self-implication and all ya know?
