Positives from this season; 1- The Yankees finally got old and sucky. 2- Rasbust morphed into Rasmus. 3- EE and Joey didn't lose trade value.

Lost faith in Morrow. He's never anywhere near healthy enough to be as good as he can be, even when he is pitching. I think the best we can reasonably hope for from him going forward is a decent #4 when healthy, and a DL resident about half of each season when not. Dickey? Another decent #3-4. JJ? Who the f*** knows. Buehrle's the devil you know, a decent #4 who eats innings. Happ is an average #5. Romero is lost in the Twilight Zone. Drabek, Hutch, Stroman I can't exactly see coming up and right away posting xFIP's of under 4.5, I just can't. They'll need time to find their way like most young starters. All in all, a lot of big-name, big-money meh-ness. I see next season being, all in all, a slight improvement over this one. Maybe I'd be down to say we win 87 games, if I was a betting man. -

Unfortunately, marketing seems to be the primary consideration with this club these days, as opposed to making the cold, heartless decisions necessary to put a superior product on the field at all times, and cycle out the old/bring in the new to keep it that way. I'd be shocked if they didn't make a huge push to bring him back. -
Anyone else here actually feel sorry for ole' Gibby? He seems genuinely likeable, and to see his enthusiasm, and sheer honest level of WTF-ishness in his first few interviews when talking about his shock at getting a second chance to manage in the bigs.......... I'd much rather see Beeston get it. Actually I want him fired regardless, can't stand the ****. Then AA if it turns out that he actually wasn't operating under orders to morph into Alex Derpopolis this past offseason. But Gibby? He seems like something of an innocent bystander to me, and I would actually genuinely feel for the guy if he's the only casualty in this train wreck.

Yup. It's pretty clear that he's a prissy, whiny little bitch. He could probably do a great job leading an excursion to the cosmetics department for some new lotion aimed at metrosexuals, though. Look to his background; he's a light-skinned kid from a "middle class" family in DR. Says a lot as to why he's come to expect deferential treatment if you're willing to read between the lines.

Where does the comment about being self-absorbed reflect on their relative performances? My comment was about the CULTURE they've brought to the team. Jesus kid, I know you're a 14 year old virgin and all, but get off Bautista's dick already man. He's not your boyfriend or your husband, you don't have to leap to his defence whenever you imagine that someone else might be disparaging him.

Honestly, in an alternate universe where I just took over for Alice Tzatziki as this team's GM, I'm looking to trade EVERY valuable piece we have to restock the farm. Bautista Encarnacion Janssen Buehrle Dickey Johnson Lind Oliver Any more? That would be a good start, though.
