    We abandoned the "perpetual contention" through maintaining an elite farm plan that Alex laid out and was following until 8 months ago, so that they could sell more tickets to people who had never followed baseball before. It was rage-inducing to encounter people at work/socially who were suddenly talking about the Jays/wearing Jays merchandise because of all the fawning press they were receiving due to "bringing in big names". You run a club whose first priority is creating buzz with the casuals, this is what you get. So much righteous vengeance being heaped upon this franchise's head by the baseball gods it's not even funny. So much rightfully deserved suffering, it's almost enjoyable to me. I hope Beeston pops a couple of hemorrhoids over this s***, and the resulting septicemia goes to his brain. f***ing incompetent twat.

    You caught that too, eh? Those shots in the dugout right after when Edwin was sat next to him, he looked pissed. After Edwin's curtain call you could even catch the tail-end of a "OMG wtf ever, you kidding me?!" eye-rolling soundless tantrum from him as Edwin sat back down next to him on the bench. Edit: just read through the last 2 pages, everyone else noticed too. Hah, what a selfish ****. Trade his ass. Profar plz.
