    Eh, it wasn't the greatest, but it's an older guy playing in front of a huge crowd. Probably was nervous as hell.

    What was the last version you got? xposbrad is right, the changes year to year aren't always big, but it does get a little better each year. I'd say you'll be fine, especially if it's windows 7 64 bit and you've got a decent amount of ram. Also this year is the first year they have official major league licensing, so you don't have to add the real teams as you would in the past. By far the best baseball management type game.

    Yeah I know, the whole ego thing. However, it just seems they are scared to even consider this option just for fear of offending him, which is dumb. (Although yeah, maybe they have and we just don't know it.) ok

    I'm hardly an expert on these things but would Reyes defense be any better over at 2nd if we could find a good shortstop instead of a 2B (at least as an option). If so, why don't they just say hey Jose, it's time to move over to 2nd. I get that Jose's SS defense isn't so great anymore, but I'd still hate to lose the bat.

    KC is unlikely to want or need Navarro as they have Perez at C and just signed Morales to DH........

    Excuse me?? Was just pointing out some people seem satisfied with the team as is when they should not. I fully expect more moves to happen and will be disappointed if not.

    Everyone is of course loving the top 6 in our line-up, but the bottom 3 has the potential to be downright awful. 7. Smoak 8. Izturis/Goins/Travis 9. Pompey That has rally killer written all over it and it gets worse if any of the top 6 go down for any length of time. Still lots of needs on this team imo.

    Is this not the same as why weren't the rest of the teams in the league not in on Donaldson?? Teams just start a dialogue with other teams and s*** happens.

    Theo was under contract, but Boston only allowed him to go as long as they got compensated in some way. Anyway, they couldn't decide what the compensation was for a long time and eventually Bud had to step in I guess.
