  1. Guerrero is SO f***ING GOOD. Incredible vertical range on those trash throws from his bum infielders and incredible "standing" range on stretches and picks. His only weakness is playing off the bag sometimes but he already has to be one of the most dynamic defensive 1st basemen in the league right now.
  2. Gurriel playing that bounce so sharply saved that from running back in and becoming a triple or inside-the-parker.
  3. Bad defense is so painful. Anderson had a great shot at an inning as short as Stripling's and then his third baseman puts a guy on second.
  4. In more positive-ish news, the Jays are now firmly within the top 5-6 most well-rounded teams in the majors to this point:
  5. Fun fact: Jansen is currently tied for the longest hitless streak in Blue Jays history with Ed Sprague (1994) at 35 at-bats.
  6. lmao, Milone getting the Robidas Island treatment with this "injury" report. Castro and Kirk also to the IL because Blue Jays fans aren't allowed to have nice things. Kay and Adams called up.

  8. lol yikes. Missed this one and it's probably the most blatant catcall out of all of those comments:
  9. Yeah, my career is in journalism and it was my most active hobby for years before I even got my first job. The more you read and work with good writing, the more obvious it becomes when someone is just pretending to be a good journalist. Barry sucked at his job (to the point where I literally can't remember his last name right now) but he was a lot more natural in this role than Hazel and Arash because he was a sideline reporter that knew he was a sideline reporter. He wasn't punching above his weight class and posing as a master storyteller. A sideline reporter just needs to exist and let the story tell itself, let the players be themselves. Trying to make everything deep just makes it suck. I don't blame them for doing it though. Sports is full of ******** narrative peddlers that are wildly successful. Ron Maclean is one of the most accomplished Canadian sports people of all time and I've never watched a Ron Maclean segment that didn't feel forced and awkward and actively make me uncomfortable watching it.
  10. Because he's a massive tryhard. He always has this slow, emphatic cadence every time he asks a question or has a talking segment, as if he's perpetually telling some Pulitzer-worthy narrative masterpiece. Hazel is exactly the same way. Most players see through that self-important ******** and it's always cringe-worthy when it happens.
  11. Hilarious that they IBB'd Biggio, a guy who struck out multiple times tonight in counts that started 3-0.
  12. I just hate watching him man. When he's on point it's easy to stomach but when he's wild like he has been a few times this year, it's just obnoxious to watch. Good results today though, even if he did give up a huge sac fly to open the inning.
  13. Oh god, this f***ing gremlin. I have absolutely no faith in Romano with a man on second but I'm hoping he makes me eat s*** here.
  14. If that same sequence plays out with Panik without the Rivera send, the game is tied.
  15. Luis Rivera sucks at literally the only job he has.
  16. Some games you just know they're gonna be pitching clinics because both sides are just perfectly sharp and on point. This is not one of those games. Some ugly ass pitching today from everyone, even if it hasn't been punished yet.
  17. A 5-ball strikeout for Biggio to leave two guys on.
  18. Anyone else think Bergen looks super hittable? Feel like he's already thrown several meatballs.
  19. Uhh, what? What does Shapiro have to do with the franchise's only hall of famer disgracing himself and the team by being an (allegedly) garbage person?
