  1. This is the best lineup the Jays have had all year imo. Just hope Vladdy starts hitting again. A .340 BA was probably not sustainable but he's dipped pretty hard since then.
  2. Mayza to the DL because of course that would happen when the team is finally on a roll. Borucki to Triple A. Murphy and Snead back up.
  3. He's a dumbass anti-vaxxer. Chances are much higher that he has it if he's showing symptoms.
  4. Game #108 Red Sox (Pivetta) @ Toronto Blue Jays (Ray) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
  5. Funny nugget about the Athletics: They're hoping to fill the hole of a guy who just got suspended for Nandrolone (Laureano) with a guy who previously got suspended for Nandrolone (Marte).
  6. lol, Kimbrel had 2 earned runs allowed all season with the Cubs. He gave up 3 more runs on that Romine shot to the Cubs. And the White Sox gave up Madrigal for him hahaha. Worst part of that home run was that it was a cheapie too.
  7. Ooooof. Huge blow to the A's, big break for the teams competing with them for a playoff spot.
  8. I think when he said that he meant "It was shocking to see them start the season so well after they were the worst pitching staff in the history of baseball in 2020." Obviously 2020 was a shortened season and there was no way they were actually that bad but his claim was probably results-based, which is a pretty defensible argument imo:
  9. f***ing Americans. And yeah, apparently they play this song at Fenway after wins for some reason.
  10. If you click on the tweet, the hashtags have team emblems attached to them on Twitter itself. Agreed though, s***** hashtags. The Red Sox are just "#DirtyWater" apparently.
  11. Game #107 Red Sox (Eovaldi) @ Toronto Blue Jays (Manoah) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
  12. How about the fact that the Blue Jays have a +114 run differential and are in 4th place and the Mets have a -11 run differential and are winning their division? Isn't that fun?
  13. FUN fact: The Blue Jays are 8 games above .500. They're 4th in the AL East. The Mets are 4 games above .500. They're 1st in the NL East.
  14. Has anyone seen Berrios at all since his start? I just noticed that I don't think I've seen him a single time, at least in the games I've watched on TV. Maybe I'm just not paying attention as much.
  15. Game #106 Cleveland Guardians (McKenzie) @ Toronto Blue Jays (Stripling) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
  16. f*** yeah! Masai signed an extension with the Raptors!
  17. The MLBPA doesn't care about minor leaguers and draft prospects. If they were going to use this in their case, it wouldn't be to negotiate for higher draft bonuses. They'd use it as leverage to negotiate for higher current salaries. IE: "You already admitted you get us for such a massive discount in the draft, pay us more when we get to the major leagues."
  18. Game #105 Cleveland Guardians (Mejia) @ Toronto Blue Jays (Matz) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
  19. Prediction: Steve Cohen made another mess for the owners in the upcoming CBA with this tweet:
  20. Definitely not top five. Not with Manoah and Kirk also losing eligibility very soon. Even if Pearson doesn't graduate by the end of the season (probably a safe bet that he won't throw 30 IP in relief), the Jays are probably on the lower end of the top 10 at best. But that's okay. Graduating players to your major league roster and making significant trades is the entire point of a farm system.
  21. Another great game. The Jays haven't lost a game I've watched live all the way back to even before the Rajai Davis walk-off game where Kawasaki hit a home run. It's a good feeling after seeing them lose in the first 5-6 games I ever saw.
