Yeah, this. I watched the 97 All-Star game just for the hell of it. It seemed bizarre with players actually skating, there was a lot of interference too but I suppose that was the era. Theo Fleury actually threw a body check! LOL. It wasn't much of one but still. Also Hasek, damn was that guy good.

I think it would be cool if Dion turned into an Ulf Samuelsson type. Since everyone in the league apparently doesn't like him (he's a big meanie isn't he) he might as well roll with it.

I do appreciate Kessel's scoring prowess, I just don't think he is the guy you build around. And he is really the only asset they have that can potentially have a big (positive) impact on the future of the team if moved. But who knows, there is no rush.

Does Kessel have an opt out? I thought he signed an extension. Anyway, I'm not a fan of Kessel personally.

Plus, didn't Beeston say payroll was going up before the off-season? What was the team payroll last season 143mil? I suppose AA could be saving some money for the trade deadline.

Yeah, this. We could argue for days about how to quantify the value of framing, but I think we can all agree that Navarro is a terrible framer.

The only game I was at this year some guys behind me wouldn't shut up about R.A Dickey, all there ripping on the team eventually came back to him. Didn't give Reyes any s***, just Dickey.

What do I think about what goes on around here? Well for one, you guys are all crazy. Haha. But when you talk ball, there is a large number of knowledgeable fans here and discussion are usually pretty interesting. I find that most of the time my thoughts are covered by one or multiple posters here, so I tend to stay in the shadows. As for the soap opera stuff that goes on around here I find it hilarious how hypocritical people can be in that regard. Whether that be the Jays fanboys or the Rays clique you guys are really all the same once you get on that high horse. I also find it funny whenever GD or whomever refers to BTS as Queen BTS, reminding us not to take this s*** so seriously. LOL. -

Who have the Jays made better offers to that have been turned down? The only one that comes to mind is Beltran and signing for 2 years instead of 3 then seems to have worked out better with how much the Yankees paid him. -
