IMO, there is a correlation between AA re-signing players to well below market deals and the fact that they haven't signed a single decent free agent. Despair tactics don't work so hot when players can shop around. -

Wouldn't it be funny if Lebron left after one season, especially if the Cavs end up mortgaging the future. I suppose its worth it if they win the title, but this is Cleveland we're talking about.

I'm not sure who this 3rd Rays fan is but as for you Hurl you seem to try and be diplomatic about it. Yeah we get it, Yunel Escobar was pretty good at baseball we didn't need to be reminded all the time. Talk about beating a dead horse. I think certain people chose to take there revenge for that when the chance finally arrived. BTS being the easiest target for obvious reasons. And going AWOL just added fuel to fire.

I'm not a prospect guy, how good are these guys going to the Cubs? I like that the A's picked up multiple pieces in the deal, filling multiple needs. I think that's the only way you can justify these types of deals. -
