    Biased vote for Donaldson. Should be Trout. Hopefully the Angels miss the playoffs and that will auto-disqualify him.

    I hate speculating on what a GM could do without owner influence as we'll never know. I am not sure how much blame I can give to DD on those contracts given to Verlander and Carbera. They looked to be franchise corner stones for a team that was in the gutter a decade ago. If Verlander and Carbera were on other teams like the Nationals, Dodgers, Angles, Texas, New York Yanks, etc. the outcome would have likely been the same. Only budge teams like the Jays, A's, Rays, Mets and maybe Marlins would have traded them. Think only the A's and Rays would intentionally trade them for more assets rather than budget concerns.

    Speaking of the O's, with how bad they have been if DD was to be let go would you still be interested in him for President/replace Beaston? I would rather go after Dombrowski between the two as I felt Dequette was always overrated. Better than the Beast but overrated.

    Not sure if anyone cares but Norris went 6.1 innings, 3 ER, 4 R, 2 SO, 3 BB, 6.35 xFIP Reading the Tigers board he still had spotty command (left balls high when catcher wanted it low) but overall a so-so outing. Looks like his inconsistent year is still continuing. I know the elbow surgery he had in the offseason was minor, but any reports of that surgery ever effecting players after?

    Yeah but you're setting up Loup to fail. You want to build his confidence against LHH not facing 3 RHH in a row. Oh well it works out so I am just complaining about nothing.
