  1. Wow... -1.1 WAR. If he was used purely as a DH or 2B he may have better numbers cause his DRS is at -17 in LF. So the Sox are paying Sandoval $17M and Hanley $22M, combined $39M for -2.3 WAR. Castillo isn't doing so hot either and think he is being platooned to face only LHP. Love it. Just love it.
  2. I thought the Giants may miss Sandoval this year but nope, Duffy's year is better than any of Panda's final 3 with the Giants. Also, for some LOLs: Pablo Sandoval, 86 wRC+, -1.2 WAR, 5 years - 95 Million
  3. Danny Valencia has a good defensive metrics at 1B. Chris Colabello does not. If you want to judge his defense with his time in LF or out of position, then we should start arguing about how Jose Bautista is a terrible defensive catcher. Danny Valencia has also been a better hitter than Colabello against LHP and have been similar vs RHP this year. There is not a single argument, defensive metric or offensive, which you can argue that Danny Valencia is a inferior player to Colabello. You want to say AA is focusing on defense? Fine, we can speculate all we want. DFA him over Colabello is one of his worst moves and its unfortunate that fans don't realize what an asset the Blue Jays literally gave away for free just to save a couple of bucks. Lawrie is actually rating as a negative defender this year. The games I've seen him at he still looks the same so I am speculating that it may be the lack of range he is unable to cover at the O.co. His BABIP is at a career high .331 and he's only hitting at 99 wRC+. I am very happy AA gave him up. If he still got Donaldson without giving up Lawrie he'd likely be the 2B and Travis > Lawrie. Hopefully Travis' career doesn't tailspin down like Lawrie's after the first season and hopefully the injuries can be behind him next season. Agreed on loosing Danny V. Option Schultz or DFA Bello. There were better moves AA could have made to keep him.
  4. Danny V: 1.0 WAR Lawire: 0.5 WAR LOL!!!
  5. Pillar, I want to root for you, but f*** you're hard to cheer for with those swings.
  6. Please, don't strike out then GIDP.
  7. I f***ing hate that western whistle after every strikeout. Just as annoying as the f***ing drums in Cleveland.
  8. YEAH UMP THROW THE ENTIRE YANKEES OUT! cf
  9. Dang, Smoak - Goins - Pillar is probably the easiest 1-2-3 outs in our lineup.
  10. LOL!! The fan that threw Bautista's homerun back to the field hit Gardner. Secret agent Blue Jays fan found.
  11. Meh, its not bad. I was thinking more like, Bashing Bash Bashed Basher.
  12. NY Yanks talking about how BB got ripped by the Jays for Donaldson. Awe yeah! BE JELLAY!
  13. Reyes would have never gotten that. Heck, he might have thrown it PAST 1B and DiDi would have scored.
  14. Pillar should have a "no swing" rule when he's 3-2. In fact, he should have a no swing rule period. He might get on base.
  15. What? Estrada doesn't have extreme road vs home splits. I guess you could argue he's been more lucky than unlucky like Hutch, but can't see him as the "anti Hutch".
  16. Nice catch Goins. Made up for his last at-bat.
  17. I am honestly surprised he's still pitching. Thought he'd have blow out his elbow by now. Not that I hope it happens, the dude is fun to watch. Hope he gets crushed against us, but fun to watch otherwise.
  18. Dang, thought Bau had that one too.
  19. New York right now http://i.ytimg.com/vi/b6ZzEEaKC90/maxresdefault.jpg Cause its raining!
  20. "Re"inured? His arm was never injured, it was his knee/leg. Not sure how his leg could lead to a arm injury.
