I think he was just trying to argue that they could sign him to 'appease' the fans and have a new marketing ploy to attract people back. Though he did mention that Morneau would hit more HR here, which you've already had a counter point for. Regardless, neither players is the solution but I irrationally expect one of them to be playing with us next season.

Fixed that for you. But jokes aside, IF the team does rebuild I'd be open to hearing offers even for Lawrie. I can only imagine how he would act without Bautista to try and keep him cool headed.

He's been swinging at a lot of 1st pitches. I don't know if he's just anxious to start producing or if is still finding his swing. Just hopes he figured it out after the break. Also, wow the O's hate bautista.

He has brought the K's down overall this year and has been hitting quite well over the past two months. That Miguel Cabrera guy had a pretty hit. Machado also has a pretty sweet swing too.

If it makes the team better I would still consider it. However chances are if we trade Lind the value we get back will have less impact on the team than Lind is currently having.
