  1. There’s been some silly swings on Francis’ curve.
  2. They have one hard hit ball (IKF) in 6 innings against Ronel Blanco with 15 swings and misses. Pathetic showing.
  3. Yeah at the end of the day he has 13 swings and misses on 68 pitches. 3 on the fastball, 8 on the curve and 2 on the splitter(?). The average exit velo on the fastball was 97 mph though, when they made contact they really made contact.
  4. By far the best Francis has looked tonight and it’s been facing Altuve, Tucker, Yordan Alvarez and Bregman a third time through the order lol.
  5. Credit to Houston though, Blanco’s scouting report says he’s almost 50% sliders, 40% fastballs and 10% mostly changeups. This game he’s mixed them evenly and the Jays have not adjusted.
  6. Pathetic ABs against Ronel Blanco.
  7. Pretty clear the curve is his one true plus pitch. I wonder if he could survive throwing his arsenal of breaking balls like 60% of the time.
  8. He cannot keep missing with his slider high like this.
  9. Best contact of the game from the Jays side by IKF there.
  10. Mitch White just threw 3 innings, I think Parsons is next out of the pen.
  11. I mean that time he threw a mediocre slider down the middle to a pull hitter. The fastball seems like it’s quite hittable and they’ve been sitting on it though.
  12. That was a horrendous pitch. He’s getting demolished.
  13. He’s not a good framer, so unless they think he’s not totally cooked with the bat, probably not.
  14. Francis seems like someone who desperately needs a working cutter. He’s not even locating the fastball poorly and the velo is fine, he got some swings and misses on it. They must be sitting on it and it doesn’t have any funky characteristics to make them swing under it.
  15. They’re demolishing the fastball.
  16. Holy f*** the Rockies are bad. Sharp groundball to LF with 1st and 2nd on, goes under the glove of Jones, two runners score with the hitter reaching third, then on the relay throw it’s bobbled which leads Morel on third to come home easily. Embarrassing.
  17. Again if all you wanted was a burner off the bench as a designated runner in late innings, Cam Eden is right there. Lukes' skillset is completely redundant on this roster otherwise, his 52nd percentile sprint speed is just not gonna cut it for a 5th outfielder.
  18. You mean the 121 after today’s game?
  19. He had 3. I thought his fastball velo was nowhere near where we saw it in Spring, not sure if that’s of any concern there. Gausman had 12 whiffs in 69 pitches lol.
  20. This might be the last non emergency 3B appearance for JT for a while. He’s only had two chances and both have been embarrassing.
  21. Loved seeing Clement hustle to score when he noticed the throw coming in to third. Heads up baserunning.
  22. Clement meant to do that.
  23. Yeah the best chance is a missed diving catch by the CF with the ball rolling to the wall.
  24. Lots of 94s from White, where’s the velo we saw in Spring?
