  1. Everyone orders/makes (unlikely) pizza for the game, and throughout the duration of the game people post pics of their pizza along with some information about it (source of pizza, toppings on it, etc.). Makes for a fun GDT while we enjoy the play from the boys of summer.
  2. He's been the exact same pitcher lol. Tons of groundballs and nasty high 90s sinker. You're making way too many conclusions from 2 games.
  3. One year it's "the team is homers or nothing" now it's "singles or die", both garner criticism. These guys just can't catch a break.
  4. Christ, we've been all over Britton in these two games. Let's make something happen!
  5. To be fair, this is always what he looks like. Sometimes he's all over the place and the slider is being hung too many times.
  6. Well, our pitching is picking things up right where it left off last season.
  7. Alright. Smoak walk, Pillar single, Travis single, JD double. Sound good to everyone? Okay, break!
  8. Why is Tepera warming up in a 2-run ballgame?
  9. Someone please capitalize on one of these fastballs.
  10. His hitting hasn't exactly turned a corner thus far.
  11. Pillar the GOAT! Hope the shoulder (?) is okay.
  12. Agh, too many fastballs in hittable spots.
  13. Nice call by the ump, surprised he gave it considering Martin's poor framing effort.
  14. Happ has been leaving the high fastball calls too much at the middle. Needs to adjust or he'll get burned.
  15. Guys, there are other statistics other than pitcher wins to explain why Happ and Sanchez were good last season.
  16. After getting pretty lucky on the first three hits I'm alright with Bautista's being caught.
  17. "In years past" J.A. Happ wouldn't have thrown a fastball down the pipe.
  18. Hey guys, Happ is apparently not a mental midget. Clearly what led to his success last year. Great report Hazel.
  19. You can't really blame him for that, it's instinctive. It's not like JD is lobbing the ball to him.
