  1. Okay seriously, it's time for Chris Coghlan. What Travis is doing out there is unacceptable right now.
  2. At the very least Pearce is somewhat squaring some balls. He's hit a few line drives in the last few games but most aren't falling. Travis on the other hand is struggling to hit it past the pitcher.
  3. How on earth is any of this Gibby's fault?
  4. Thames is legit jacked. I won't even be mad when Pat drools all over him all game long.
  5. It's not THAT much weaker. Rotation is identical, bullpen is probably about the same when factoring in the additions and subtractions, the hitters are mostly the same except a year older (for an already old core) with Morales being a downgrade from EE, and Pearce being an upgrade over our previous LF situation with potential for Pompey to eventually be healthy for more than a month and show what he's got. It's really not a bad team at all, sure maybe it's closer to .500 than to division winner, but definitely can't be writing anyone off 7 games into the regular season.
  6. If you thought Eric Thames and Adam Lind were bad in the outfield...
  7. Did you just assume the cat's gender?
  8. f***, such garbage luck in that inning (except for the Morales play).
  9. Yeah it's a sinker/slider mix, sometimes he'll throw it 4 seam but that's what you get. Pitch tracker was getting changeup on the slider and 90 mph slider on the sinker lol.
  10. Holy f*** that slider is disgusting.
  11. The pitchtracker is having a really tough time classifying Smith's pitches lol.
  12. Martin FFS please swing at the meatball breaking balls.
  13. f*** yes Tulo! Man Morales was really struggling getting home there lmao.
  14. I'm fully in on the Dominic Leone bandwagon.
  15. 40% of his flyballs allowed went for homers. That's bad luck.
  16. Happ was fine honestly. 8 K and no walks, 1.22 xFIP.
  17. Damn those are some bloopy leadoff singles two innings in a row.
  18. Alright, potentially could've done more with that but we'll take it.
  19. I think similar to Estrada the other day, it's not that he's missing all over the place or his stuff is bad, it's just that he's leaving a few too many key pitches in hittable spots. Marco really suffered from 3 high changeups last time out. In Happ's case he needs to make sure the high fastball stays high.
  20. Wow lucky af. If Piña was watching his near homer that's egregious.
