  1. Wait is that a wooden bat that I heard? I thought US schools used aluminum?
  2. Lol these are so not happening.
  3. You can't really be certain of that. If other teams viewed them as starters they would have signed by now.
  4. This should be a no-brainer, he is an AL East tested pitcher after all.
  5. Didn't he previously play for Panama?
  6. He's insanely late on his timing, no way that holds up over a full year, new elbow or not.
  7. I think World of Warcraft was just particularly heated last night.
  8. Everyone knows the head coach in Cleveland is just a Lebron puppet. Gotta please the king.
  9. This is not the first time I've expressed such criticisms on the matter.
  10. f*** all of you, I've played baseball somewhat competitively and morning cut grass literally smells like ass. Most overrated smell ever.
  11. I'm glad I was able to sell him before he became nearly unrosterable in LOD, though I also traded Stroman for Tyson Ross in the same deal so it kind of balanced out
  12. Byung-ho Park unfortunately shat all over everyone's expectations of KBO transitions following the success of Kang.
  13. Freshly cut grass smells awful crew checking in.
  14. Not even LeBron and associates can compete with GSW. They upgraded Harrison Barnes to Durant, that's insane.
  15. Wtf are you doing gruber? Don't reply to the Dogg please.
  16. There's a difference between a player who has stated no intention to stop playing Major League baseball versus one who had a f***ing retirement tour the season when he announced his retirement and has never hinted at anything else. Eovaldi is a completely different situation and should be handled appropriately. But whatever, if FS inexplicably wants to waste a roster spot on Ortiz then sure, who cares.
  17. Holy s*** they lost again. Wow they cannot hold a lead anymore.

  19. Damn how did your team not make more noise? Aside from the BP it's fantastic. I suppose down seasons from Harper, Puig, Upton, Price (ERA wise) and Gray hurt you.
  20. So he pointed where he got hit to make the umpire aware of the situation...yeah he's the devil that one.
  21. You know that hitting against Max Scherzer is really hard right? As a hitter against that caliber of pitching, in the midst of a pretty embarrassing display from your team, you'll do what you can get. Sure it's a bit dickish, but supposedly there are rules against leaning in on a pitch, so that's up the the umpire to make the right call, not the player trying the gain the slightest of advantages.
  22. Aside from the hype and the generally fantastic atmosphere at March Madness games, it's still the same kind of game, not enjoyable to me. And I'm someone who wouldn't mind watching the odd awful NBA game here and there.
  23. I've tried watching NCAA basketball but it's just not very enjoyable for me. There's a pretty noticeable difference between that and the pros IMO, the good players love to jack up shots - contested or otherwise - like there's no tomorrow, some of the not-so-good ones also takes threes all game long like they're Stephen Curry; full-court defense for half the game is fun and exciting but it results in really sloppy basketball. It doesn't seem like the players have a whole lot of creativity outside whatever scheme their coach drew up for them, which would mostly be fine if the players were so good that it was flawless basketball on both ends, but it's just a bit too disorganized for my taste.
  24. Honestly, I understand where you're coming from, but f*** that too. I absolutely love looking forward every day to the Blue Jays playing, or some other team in the off chance that there's a day off. The fact that baseball is always on is the one best parts of the sport.
