  1. 3 clean innings from Easton Lucas. A godsend.
  2. Gimenez makes that long throw to get the lead runner out look like he's making a simple underhand flip to the SS. He's insane defensively.
  3. Could've been 4-0 with a man on first and one out easily too.
  4. Once again, I think he's clearly safe but I fear the initial call being out will hurt us.
  5. Easton Lucas blowing someone by with 94. Won't see that from Ryan Yarbrough.
  6. Gimenez does it again lol Plus for taking second on the throw like a smart runner.
  7. Nice little swing from Santander, stayed back on the breaking ball even though he was fooled by it.
  8. All I'll say is he's been not a total butcher in limited reps at 3B which is already much better than anticipated. He's clearly put in the work to make himself stick which ups his utility tremendously. I wonder if he's at all playable against LHP with his contact based approach.
  9. They're both equally as bad. It's not like we don't have Bloss who is clearly better than both, but it seems they want to give him a little more upper minors seasoning. Yariel is also clearly a better option although it seems they're keeping him as a high leverage ish reliever with the injured guys shortening our RP depth.
  10. Isn't De La Cruz the starting RF for the Barves with Acuna and now Profar out? Slater is a good target with the White Sox being horrendous and him not having any team control like McCormick.
  11. What happened with Yarbrough is everyone in the rotation was healthy to begin the season and they did a replacement level veteran a solid by allowing him to find an open opportunity elsewhere. It's not that hard to reason jfc. There wasn't some conspiracy against Ryan Yarbrough, he's awful and throws 86 so they thought they could easily replace him internally if the opportunity presented itself.
  12. Tommy Pham coming to a Dome near you in mid July.
  13. That's second on the team in HR, Tyler Heineman to you sir.
  14. ICYMI: division rival porn Eugenio Suarez launches a grand slam with the DBacks trailing with two outs in the 8th: https://mlb-cuts-diamond.mlb.com/FORGE/2025/2025-04/01/e7a4424b-e97e3f23-634ab0f4-csvm-diamondgcp-asset_1280x720_59_4000K.mp4
  15. Gore just got finished carving up the Phillies so this will be a tough matchup to say the least. At least our slap hitters don't strike out so there's a chance for some BABIP magic.
  16. Schneider can’t catch up to fastballs at all.
  17. Mason Fluharty doesn’t really do fastballs.
  18. Vlad’s a joke at the plate right now.
  19. If only he didn’t hit everything on the ground :(

  21. This has been a common issue for Francis since he transitioned to the rotation in the back half of last season. He eventually just runs out of gas, the fastball is noticeably slower and he gets shelled. That's fine in the modern game, just get us through 5 solid innings, maybe push a 6th if there's enough of a cushion in the scoreboard like last night. Probably means you'll always need to have the long man ready to follow him as TTO creeps up however.
  22. He's on track to carve himself a nice little career if he keeps it up. Elite defensively at second with previous reps all over the place, good speed, and while I don't think the bat is that legit due to the lack of power, the hit tool appears to play. Probably few teams he gets a chance to prove himself like he has on the Marlins, so it was for the best. He was also brutal in 2023 at AAA so it made sense at the time to let him go. Cool to see guys like him and Griffin Conine sort of stick at the MLB level without being good enough to be actual stars that you don't fully regret giving up on them.
