  1. CJ Miles might be back? Man he's so impactful when he's on.
  2. Robinson Cano available for a pick.
  3. Did you really have to ask?
  4. Ah yes, Boxcar8, commonly known as the fun guy around these parts.
  5. Ignoring the obvious alternative that maybe some other picks were a reach.
  6. I like the pick but I actually disagree, I don't think he was the BPA. No offense Littlemoon, Benintendi is very valuable in his own right.
  7. I like this deal a lot more for the Reds with the extension being announced. The Yankees basically gain two comp. round picks in Stowers and the 30s pick, which is much better than they would make out losing Gray to free agency, and the Mariners inexplicably come out of nowhere to gain a 50 FV prospect with Cano and Jean Segura gone. I gotta say, I kind of like it for all teams involved. The Reds are also acquiring intriguing generic Yankees SP prospect Reiver Sanmartin, very nice.
  8. That third quarter was ridiculous. Danny Green is a man on a mission.
  9. This is not a good look for Friedman and co.
  10. It's not Super Two, it's that for someone who is a top 10 prospect and 60-65 FV, you definitely want to maximize the amount of cheap control that you have over a guy like that.
  11. Everyone is ignoring the fact that every potential deal will likely include multiple opt-outs for the player. I could see a deal that promises him 2/70 or 3/100 before an opt out hits and it gets cheaper after that.
  12. Did you send an email with the results? Because I actually didn't get anything, not that I have any reason to distrust the results.
  13. Much like in every other professional sport, fringe talent at the highest level is still miles better than everyone else. How much further is the ABL from like AAA?
  14. He was serviceable for us and the stuff was still filthy, I'd welcome a reunion if we have the space for him.
  15. So a lottery pick with some upside and a generic Dodgers pitching prospect, probably what most of us would have expected from a deal like this.
  16. Also from a PR point of view it's a good move, move the likeable veteran with whom the team has a good relationship with to a top team so he'll get a chance to be in the thick of contention once again, and not to a direct or even distant (Astros) rival.
  17. A few wins is pushing it too, given that Martin's replacement Danny Jansen is probably already one of the better catchers in the game. We'll live with Maile or McGuire as his backup.
  18. Wishing Russ all the best, his signing went as good as it could have, great player for us and he was extremely likeable. Good to see him go (back) to a contender.
  19. You're giving them too much credit, the only casuals who'll be upset are those who like his being Canadian and a veteran, but if I had to guess I'd say the majority will be pleased because he's the guy who just ran a sub .200 batting average.
  20. This Spurs-Thunder game is incredible. Derozan is so f***ing bad but the rest of the Spurs are amazing, LaMarcus Aldridge is unstoppable in the post and the team has missed 1 three in 17 attempts! 94% from three!
  21. Some team is going to swoop in and steal Jeff McNeill it seems.
  22. Let's not talk about this game.
