  1. Gurriel most certainly will not be on the bench or AAA, wtf is this take? He's going to be playing all over the field with regularity to start the season, guaranteed.
  2. I don't know about sucks s***, he's probably a perfectly serviceable #5 starter who might be able to offer a bit more.
  3. Kawhi Leonard is incredible.
  4. Holy f*** at that call. Wow
  5. Very nicely done. Although from experience you'll grow to hate Paredes as he goes on to not make his debut this year.
  6. If anyone is interested, I'll move my three worst waiver picks for an upgrade, or my two worst plus any other for an upgrade on the highest one.
  7. I'm really surprised to see Grant77 liking this move. I would have thought Buchholz would be on his death list.
  8. I've corrected Garrett Hampson's name on the sheet. He was listed as "Hampton".
  9. Norris has been pretty solid as a reliever. I like that the team has tried to prevent the bullpen from being a tirefire even in a non-competitive year.
  10. I think there's a reasonable range of outcomes in which 36 year old impending HOF Bryce Harper can earn $30+M over his last 4 or so years of his career, with a lower risk of running into a Tulo-like humiliation release. It's not like I hate it for him, but surprised he wouldn't go for the $30-35M AAV over 8-10 years instead of this deal, assuming those deals really existed in the first place.
  11. I don't get this for Harper. The deal probably has several opt outs, bonuses and a large signing bonus, but if he was being offered 10/300 by other teams then 13/330 is objectively a worse deal for him.
  12. Billy Hamilton can't hit at all. His projection is reasonable, there's only so much value that can be added through baserunning and defense when it's negated by being one of the worst professional hitters in the MLB. He already projects for an optimistic 75 wRC+ by Steamer, maybe he'll eclipse 2 WAR if everything goes right.
  13. This aged well.
  14. Yeah but he hit a wall scraper against a pitcher's first batter in ST so he's back to 2011 Tulo.
  15. In what everyone and their mother considers a down year Stanton was still a 4+ win player lol. He's gonna be fine and the Yankees of all teams can afford to pay him above market value if he does decline quickly.
  16. I don't but appreciate the support lol.
  17. Alright L54. #46 and #46 for Villar and Yonny Chirinos.
  18. There used to be three drafts: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_League_Baseball_draft
  19. Yeah I'm not really too thrilled about having to give these guys away, ideally I would keep all of them and punt all of my waiver picks. That's what I get for hoarding though, and the early promotions to guys like Honeywell and Allard really hurt my roster flexibility.
  20. I do, I'm just waiting to hear back from silvergun since he messaged me first about Villar earlier this afternoon, as a courtesy. I'll wait until 10 one way or another.
  21. Steve Pearce to birthday boy (Boxcar) for MiLB 52.
