  1. Welcome Ling34 to the division.
  2. Yeah as much of a douche as he is it sure will be nice to not have to face Machado in the AL East (i.e. on the Yankees) for the foreseeable future.
  3. For 10/300, he better be willing to play wherever the f*** the Padres tell him to. He clearly only cares about money.
  4. Our best player isn't Smoak. Already at the MLB level, our best players are Grichuk, Danny Jansen and Marcus Stroman. Unfortunately that's still not exactly elite talent to build around, but add Vladdy, Bo, the rest of the farm and make some FA signings and trades and you start having a semblance of a sustainable competitive core.
  5. Moustakas back to Milwaukee. 1/9 seems to be the terms.
  6. I kind of like it for the Twins. Kepler to me seems like a guy that's constantly on the verge of an offensive breakout, he had elite K-BB% numbers last year with above-average power. While he has been in the league for a bit long now to keep saying this, I think there's a chance he still becomes a very valuable player.
  7. Steamer aggressively projects him as a 2.7 WAR player so there must be something in his profile that their, and likely the Twins', models like about him. It's a low risk deal, worst case they're paying a bit much for a solid bench/super utility player.
  8. So the 32 players is for the cut deadline. After cuts is the waiver draft, you should end up with no more than 25 MLB players at the conclusion of it. Extra waiver picks will be dissolved if your pick comes up and your roster is full past the allowed 25.
  9. He literally just joined the team dude. Give it a few games.
  10. Free agency pays off if you're as good as Nola lol, but with that said I can totally understand him going with some security and having the self awareness that he's a pitcher and any pitch could be his last.
  11. Fangraphs dropped their top 100 list (which goes up to 130), as usual before half the teams were even done due to how in-depth they go to in every org, and generally how slow they are at releasing these things. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/2019-top-100-prospects/
  12. Currently, probably Lonzo Ball, if we exclude Markelle Fultz since he has some combination of the yips and a potential shoulder injury.
  13. I believe Kevin Martin is who you might be referring to. Him or Shawn Marion.
  14. I really would but I'm already at 3 catchers and even assuming I trade one of the top two guys, which is a near certainty at this point, I'll still have far too many catchers.
  15. Just popping in to say that all of Realmuto, Danny Jansen and Will Smith (LAD) are available for trade. In Abom's case, I'm possibly not keeping any relievers so if there's any that interest you hit me up.
  16. Reminder that J.T. Realmuto, Jesus Aguilar among others available for an upcoming pick.
  17. The Twins are the new Mariners.
  18. TRM gifted his franchise cornerstone back lol.
