  1. Andrew Cashner suxxxxxx
  2. The best part about Waguespack is he always looks like he's being forced to pitch in the game, like he'd just rather be anywhere else instead of throwing a ball to elite athletes with thousands of people watching him on. It's great, he probably has terrific composure.
  3. Attaboy Teoscar! Let's keep pounding Cashner, expose him for the terrible pitcher that he is.
  4. Thank you garbage ballpark, good baserunning from Gurriel.
  5. What Ryu trade? The three-teamer that we balked on?
  6. Sogard you f***ing beauty.
  7. Barfield is 4th in fWAR among position players.
  8. Do you mind including their wRC+ as well? Some of the leagues are either very pitcher or hitter friendly so it'd be nice to have that accounted for.
  9. What? Deivi Garcia is like a top 3 pitching prospect in the game, and he might not be 3. What's not to like?
  10. Jimmy Key is fine, he's 3rd among Blue Jays pitchers in fWAR and 7th overall, and he would rate even higher by RA9 WAR. Totally worthy on being on the list. Joe Carter though... yeah no. The thing about Clemens is that while he had his two year peak in his career with us, he was still only on the team for two seasons lol. He's easily our best player ever, but I wouldn't say he's among the greatest Blue Jays.
  11. It's absolutely false that AA has better talent. Maybe more likely to have more top prospects at a given time, but the baseline is clearly substantially lower.
  12. Fangraphs integrated RosterResource into their website, which now has in-depth information about every organization's depth charts. It's a bit busy in terms of colours and the way the tables are created so it'll probably get some getting used to but this is a fantastic addition. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/introducing-rosterresource-depth-charts/ https://www.fangraphs.com/roster-resource/depth-charts/blue-jays
  13. You have multiple players who have played above AA if you'd like to promote one of them.
  14. Garbage stadium keeps Jansen to a single.
  15. McKinney's Gurriel run starts here.
  16. I'm gonna take DL Hall first, who despite the high walks and the being an Orioles prospect I'm just going to assume that most people thought he was owned. My second pick is Francisco Morales of the Phillies.
  17. He wasn't drafted in 4 major sports, but 4 major sports leagues. He was drafted in the MLB, NFL, NBA and ABA, the latter two being basketball.
  18. That's an absurd haul for Robbie Ray, the Astros would do much better than that for those assets, even with Whitley's stock being tanked this season.
  19. Ignore that part, I worded that poorly, but yeah the fact that Bo will be 21 for the duration of the season is important. Those numbers are actually super impressive, the age is a huge consideration. Being an above average hitter in the minors when you're like 4-5 years younger than the average player is huge and makes a big difference for projecting future MLB success. Here's a good, albeit slightly dated article from the Radio Scouts' blog predecessor that does some analysis on this, might be what you're looking for. You should use it as sort of a rule of thumb more than anything, it's obviously not perfect. http://www.breakingblue.ca/2014/02/04/projecting-hitting-prospects-mlb-primes/
  20. I don't really have time to answer your question, I'm sure someone will, but I'd like to point out that Bo Bichette is one of three players in AAA that are 21 years old with 50+ PAs. He's the youngest player in the International League at that cutoff, and considering the fact that he's a March birthday it basically means he's a full year younger than anyone else achieving that. Other 21 year olds in AAA are Carter Kieboom, Luis Robert, Gavin Lux, Jesus Sanchez, and three of those guys were basically only promoted there a couple of weeks ago. The only younger player in AAA this season who's not some gimmick callup was Vlad Jr.
  21. Come on connorp, get your s*** together man.
  22. You realize there's a search feature on Google Sheets mobile right?
  23. I thought about taking Deivi Garcia second overall for a bit. Those 20 minutes before I looked him up in our league and saw he was owned were pure bliss.
