    If non baseball fans aren't interested by elite starting pitching, elite hitters, stars that are young, old and in their primes, then they weren't ever going to become baseball fans. Holy f***, it's like it can only be a matchup between the Yankees and Dodgers every year for anyone to care, why even have a regular season then? Just let the top 8 markets make the playoffs every year, that'll be good for baseball! What a f***ing crock of s***.

    Also Javier Baez isn't a finalist for a GG, despite 15 DRS and 10 UZR. Edit: to be fair, I guess the three other finalists did have pretty elite years themselves, so I guess it's more surprising than anything that a guy with his star value wasn't among the top 3.
